“International Power” is a recent hip-hop single, focusing on authority and power in a composed way.

The artist, Exzenya, is someone I love to hear, her music is always one that is incredible, just like this one.

“International Power” kicks off with a little spoken intro, which instantly will have you engrossed. The song is a very unique one, with different musical and lyrical elements. It almost feels chaotic yet structured simultaneously. The music is eccentric, and you will definitely find yourself captivated by this track.

In terms of vocals, Exzenya has done exceptionally. Her vocals are very talented, and to create song in this style, shows just how talented she is. With elements of rap, spoken word and singing, we can hear how wide her vocal range is, and how flexible her voice actually is.

Essibee – Reignited

“Reignited” a new, and powerful tune that was released by the amazing Esibee just two months ago.

Essibee is an exceptional artist, who never fails to impress. With his use of his own stories and experiences, his music becomes one that is personal, relatable and amazing.

“Reignited” is a unique, and captivating hip-hop/rap track. From the moment it begins we are welcomed to an eccentric, and captivating intro. Throughout the track, we witness a steady beat, with catchy rhythms. However, the music is just the base of the song, the really highlight has got to be Essibee’s vocal skills.

His lyrics are presented in a rap style, but one that is clear, precises and understandable. He raps with such ease and delicacy, where not only can we hear what he is saying, but we can also feel the emotion behind the lyrics.

Ernst + Graham – Lucky Star

Ernst + Graham, a creative project, who never fail to impress, have dropped a new single, and this one is called, “Lucky Star”.

For this one they have taken Madonna’s track, “Lucky Star” and have morphed it into their own, upbeat, disco track.

Lasting nearly 5 minutes long, we are really able to not only enjoy this track, but also hear their talent. From the moment it begins we are welcomed to a funky beat, with skilful guitars and solos. This instantly grabs our attention and gets us hooked on the music. You are able to bop along to this one and it will, undoubtedly, be stuck in your head long after it has finished.

However, let’s talk vocals. There is no denying that the vocalist is exceptionally talented. He has an incredibly warm voice that is just amazing to listen to. He sings with such ease and his vocal range is excellent. Alongside some backing vocals, Ernst + Graham have truly created a masterpiece cover!

“You” is a new tune recently released by Syll, and this is one that you need to hear.

Hailing from Manchester, Syll never fails to impress. With his knowledge in all thing’s music, Syll will undoubtedly impress you with his emotional, yet catchy tune.

“You” follows a rap/hip-hop style, making it one that you can not only relate to, but one you can bop along to. It has a slow beat, yet somehow adds unique rhythm patterns and makes in enjoyable, simultaneously.

However, the highlight of this track has got to be Syll and his vocal skills. As mentioned, this is a rap song, and Syll’s rapping is incredible. He presents his lyrics in such a clear and understanding way, where we are able to really feel what he is singing about.

VTHATGUY – Can’t Believe It & Held Me Down

Vthatguy has released two new tracks, “Can’t Believe It” and “Held Me Down”, from his upcoming album and they are amazing!

The multi-talented vocalist, songwriter and producer has given us a sneak peak of his album, and you need to hear it. Vthatguy has always been around music, with learning different instruments from a young age, to even attending University. His talent is undeniable, and I cannot wait to see what the future brings him.

In brief, “Can’t Believe It” is a catchy, R&B track that I know you will love. It is vibrant, it is contagious, and it is one that will linger long after it ends. You cannot help but bop along to the beat, and become engrossed in Vthtaguy’s soft, warm vocals. His voice is graceful and fits perfectly with the style.

Released a few months back, Carly Ann Taylor has strikes again, with another fantastic hit, and this one is titled, “Why Should I Worry”.

Carly is a sincere singer-songwriter who has focused this tune on redemption, hope and change. The song begins quite softly, and intimately, however this soon builds to a powerful, catchy beat. You will not only find yourself engrossed, but also bopping along to the soulful drums. The track is presented in a very heartfelt, and emotional way, where we can really feel Carly’s emotions not only through the lyrics, but the music too.

Vocally, Carly has, undoubtedly, smashed it. She has a strong, skilful voice, that is just perfect for this track. She sings with hurt, anger, but also strength. Her vocals are the heart and soul of the track, enabling us, as the listener, to be really drawn into this track.

Qymira – Shade Of My Shadow

Qymira recently released a new, amazing track and this one is titled, “Shade Of My Shadow”.

But before we get onto the track, let’s have a little look at who Qymira is. Well, Qymira is a singer-songwriter, musician, actor, producer, designer and many more, who is based in the UK. She captures her audience with her mesmerising voice, piano, and violin skills. She has already achieved so much in her career, featuring in the charts, and her new track actually being a theme song for Shadow Transit.

Night Wolf, a producer and sound designer from the UK, has teamed up with incredible Lois Powell to create a new, fantastic hit titled, “Unstoppable”.

It is a quiet confident track, that will have you hooked from the moment it begins. It has a mystic atmosphere, that builds up throughout, creating a feeling of being pulled in and left eager for more.

“Unstoppable” is really a track like no other, leaning into the trip-hop feel. With addition of an acoustic guitar, this tune has a lot of instrumental depth, and I just cannot get enough of it.

In terms of vocals, wow, Lois has done exceptionally. She has a soft, yet powerful voice, that fits immensely well with this style. Her vocals can not only be described an inviting, but also angelic.

Chris Oledude – If A Woman Had Made The World

“If A Woman Had Made The World” is the newest release by Chris Oledude, and I cannot wait to share this one with you all!

Chris is an immense singer-songwriter, who never fails to impress. Since the 1980s Chris has been out there performing, and after re-establishing himself back in 2020, he has done incredibly well. He captures real-life problems within his songs and in this particular track sends a strong message about the importance of women, and how they actually shape today’s world.

Not only is the interpretation of this track amazing, but so is the song, both musically and vocally. With the feature of Kiena Williams, the pair have created a true masterpiece. Both of their vocals are outstanding, and fit together very well, ensuring the track runs smooth and flowingly.

In terms of the music, again, it is just amazing. It is an upbeat, and almost a marching, powerful tune. The song is made in way to keep you engrossed for the full five minutes. With high and influential climaxes, and slightly quitter, impactful verses, this song will have you hooked.
