For this review, we are going to be focusing on a unique, yet incredible tune that was released by Ho Jo Fro last month. Collaborating with The Sixies, Kleidi Buroz and Brianna Tam, the collection have truly created a masterpiece.

Ho Jo Fro, otherwise known as Paul Derringer, is fantastically talented. This track is quite a stripped-back tune, no heavy instrument, instead soft string instruments, and even rhythmic knocks to symbolize the title. The music is still very enjoyable, and almost feels like we are getting taken on a journey.

In terms of vocals, wow. Every artist that features on tis track are brilliant, and Ho Jo Fro’s distinctive voice keeps the track engrossing.

Dianne Forte – God Sees Your Heart

Dianne Forte is a fantastic artist and songwriter, who has already caught the eye of many through social media. Dianne has always grown up with music and chooses to express her faith through music.

Today we are looking at one of Dianne’s best tracks, that was released in 2022, and this one is called, “God Sees Your Heart”.

“God Sees Your Heart” is beautiful, yet enjoyable tune. Following that gospel sound, this track is just one that makes you want to sing your heart out too. The music remains quite mellow through the verses, but has a slightly more uplifting, powerful chorus. The track will undoubtedly get you swaying side to side, however the true highlight, has got to be Dianne’s vocals.

Dianne has an outstanding, angelic voice that is just incredible. Her flawless sound, and wide vocal range is just striking, and alongside the choir backing vocals, this track is just undefeatable.

Mitchell Broodley – Different’s Where I Wanna Be

Mitchell Broodley, an incredible, independent country artist, has just released a new single and this one is titled, “Different’s Where I Wanna Be”.

Collaborating with Brittany Ray, the pair have truly created a masterpiece. “Different’s Where I Wanna Be” follows a country style, one that is catchy, and so enjoyable. From the moment it begins, the strumming guitars will instantly have you hooked. The track is enjoyable without being overpowering, allowing for the vocalists to shine.

Both Mitchell and Brittany have incredible voices. Mitchell has a very deep, country voice, and with Brittany’s higher range, the two blends smoothly. They both are insanely talented, and I could honestly listen to them all day long.

ReeToxA – Love Keeps Burning Still

ReeToxA are a Melbourne based rock band who are just incredible. Today we are looking at a brilliant, brand-new single that was released earlier this month, and this one is titled, “Love Keeps Burning Still.”

This track was actually written during the times of COVID, after one of the artists went through a divorce due to their passion for music.

“Love Keeps Burning Still” is an amazing indie-rock tune, that I know you will all love. Kicking off with quite a mellow, sad piano-led intro, we are instantly hooked. The track soon builds up to a powerful climax, full of emotion and strength. It is one of those tracks that you will not be able to get out of your head.

In terms of vocals, wow. The lead vocalist has a great, unique voice, that fits perfectly for this style of track. He is undeniably talented, and alongside the backing vocals, they have truly created a masterpiece.

WiLL – IG Love

WiLL is back again with another fantastic track and this one is titled, “IG Love”.

But before we get onto the track, let’s have a little look at who WiLL is. WiLL is a rising hip-hop/R&B/pop artist who focuses his work on personal experiences, and touches on the idea of love, marriage, and heartbreak for same-sex relationships. He reaches for his music to be one that isn’t just enjoyable, but relatable too.

“IG Love” is a vibrant, upbeat R&B tune that is just amazing. It has a groovy beat, and you just cannot help but dance along to this one. The music is just amazing, and like nothing I have reviewed before. He has a warm and inviting presence, and I just cannot get enough of it.

In terms of vocals, again, WiLL has smashed it. WiLL has a soft, yet eye-catching set of vocals, the kind that you could just listen to all day long.

Prience Moore – I Should’ve Let You Go

Prience Moore is an emerging artist, who is rising his way to the top with his incredible music. Today we are going to be looking at an exceptional tune of his that was released last year, and this one is titled, “I Should’ve Let You Go”.

“I Should’ve Let You Go” is a beautiful, personal tune, that can literally be enjoyed. By anyone and everyone. It kicks off with a unique, intro, with a solid piano, and instantly we are hooked. The track is quite slow paced, however with the beat, you will undoubtedly fine yourself bopping along. With a stunning piano solo, we are, again, drawn into this track. The idea of the music being fairly simplistic, allows room for Prience’s vocals to shine.

Prience, without a doubt, has a brilliant voice. His vocals are raw and real, full of pain, love and expression. He has a wide vocal range and is able to hit some fantastic notes.

Fanny Alexandra – Funeral (For The Girl I Was)

“Funeral (For The Girl I Was)” is a new, incredible track that was released by Fanny Alexandra and I cannot wait to share this one with you all.

In terms of music, it is an intriguing one. Kicking off with a soft, mellow piano led intro, we are instantly drawn in. The music is delicate and quite saddening, however we are soon welcomed to a dark, angrier rock style chorus. This gives the song its strength and shows Fanny’s true feelings.

In terms of vocals, again Fanny has smashed it. She has a fantastic, flexible voice. She reaches some brilliant soft and high notes during the melancholic verses and can then switch to a powerful and leading chorus. This just further proves her talent and keeps us engrossed in Fanny and her track.

Milyam – Lost In The Jungle

Milyam is an exceptional, independent, singer-songwriter who never fails to impress. She has created some incredible music over the last few years, and today we are looking at an older track of hers, and this one is titled, “Lost In The Jungle”.

“Lost In The Jungle” is a brilliant, vibrant alt-pop tune, that I know you will all love. From that moment it begins, its eye-catching, groovy beats will have you hooked and eager for more. The song picks up, having a catchy beat, but yet somehow remains quite dark and mysterious.

For me, the highlight of this track has got to be Milyam’s amazing, sultry vocals. She has a very recognizable voice, one that you could just listen to all day. Her talent is undeniable, and with her vocal flexibility, we can just enjoy her voice.

Halftouch is an emerging duo who have started creating their own music from their home studio. Focusing on indie, folk and acoustic, the duo makes wholesome, enjoyable music for everyone.

As I mentioned, “Watch Us Fly” is their debut single, and this one follows a soft folk/acoustic style. It remains quite a mellow track throughout, with a soft piano the track gives room for the vocals to shine.

The song is quite heartfelt, and the duo have expressed that exceptionally well through their voices. The pair have stunning voices, that blend and harmonise together incredibly. With the wide vocal range, and emotional vulnerability, Halftouch just draw you in and leave you wanting more.

Ray Gibbz – If I Ruled

“If I ruled” is a new hip-hop tine that was released by Ray Gibbz back in April, and let me start off by saying, wow. The self-taught producer, songwriter and rapper is rising his way to the top, and his music is one that you have got to hear.

“If I Ruled” is a unique, yet enjoyable tune. Starting off with a mysterious intro, we are soon welcomed to a catchy backbeat, alongside Ray’s rapping. In terms of music, despite it being following a fairly simplistic hip-hop beat, it keeps you intrigued, and you will undoubtedly find yourself bopping along to this one.

Now, let’s talk vocals. Ray, without a doubt, has a great set of vocals, and somehow makes this style of music enjoyable for everyone His rapping is one that is clear and precise, you can really understand and feel his lyrics.
