The Kirk – Butterflies

“Butterflies” is a new, enjoyable track that was released by The Kirk in July. The duo, from Middlesborough, created this track focusing on the feelings of two people getting ‘butterflies’ when they see each other. This makes it not only an incredible tune, but also a warm and possibly relatable one too.

The song begins with a piano-led, intriguing intro, instantly having us hooked. Soon building up to a catchy, pop sound. The track is quite a soft, yet positive track, one that you can bop along to, whilst feeling the lyrics.

In terms of vocals, teaming up with Liv, they have smashed it. Being a female/male duet, the contrast is brilliant. The purpose of the track is further reflected through the vocalists, really enabling us to feel the idea of the ‘butterflies’. Both vocalists have an exceptional voice, with their wide-vocal range and vocal flexibility, they have truly created a masterpiece.

So, what are you waiting for? “Butterflies” by The Kirk is out now and it needs to be heard. Click the link below and be dure to check out this one, and its ‘Sunshine And Flowers Mix’ too!
