Kervo Frank – Batman

Kervo Frank is a new, young artist who is pushing his way to the top with his amazing music! “Batman” is Kervo Frank’s latest single, and it is the ultimate rap hit!

“Batman” is extremely interesting and is more unique than the majority of modern-day music, and it is great! The song kicks off very mysteriously and then jumps into some hard rap from Kervo. His rapping has got to be one of the best I have ever heard, and I am so intrigued to see what else he can do. He also included some amazing vocals in the back which really give the song some more power!

This is another one of those rap tracks that has a similar beat throughout the song, but this one is incredibly catchy. The pumpy basslines are a really important factor in “Batman” and I honestly could listen to it all day!

All thought there are a lot of rap artists out there already, there is definitely enough room for Kervo Frank. I cannot wait to hear what else he has in store for us in the future!

Justine Sletten – Dandelion

Justine Sletten is an amazing, female artist who definitely needs more recognition. She has just released her hit “Dandelion” and it is just the ultimate country song!

The melodic, soft track, enable us to sit back and relax whilst enjoying some amazing music. Each and every verse and chorus are compact with complete greatness!

The actual music is incredible with a nice beat, and band sound. The drumbeat is fairly soft, yet it will still get you dancing along to the track, as it builds up to a chorus’ climax.

I mean I think we can all agree that Justine’s vocals are completely and utterly wonderful! Her melodies and harmonies create such a lovely, warm feeling, and make this song so nice to listen to. I personally think we could even describe her vocals as angelic!

Justine has also released a nice lyric video to accompany her song on YouTube as well! Go give “Dandelion” a little listen to now, and I guarantee you will find yourself a lover of Justine and her music!

ZIP Leathers – Loveland Pt. 1

ZIP Leathers in a musician, producer, audio engineer and artist who combines different cultures and genres together to create some amazing music! He is known for making music based on things he has previously experienced, and heard a lot of artists like Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and Marvin Gaye when he was growing up. ZIP makes a lot of R&B style tracks, stemming from 1980’s rhythm and blues and neo-soul music.

“Loveland” is a track that was released back in 2021 but is still amazing to this day! For this one, there are two different types, the radio edit and the full version which is slightly longer.

From the moment I heard this song, I was in love! “Loveland” is truly the ultimate R&B track and listening to it almost takes you into another dimension. The beat is simple but extremely contagious and really gets you moving along to it.

It is undoubtable that the vocals in this track are fantastic! His voice is incredibly soothing and talented, making it so lovely to listen to. There is also backing-vocals present which really add to the song, highlighting his own voice.

Proklaim – Priceless

Calling all rap and hip-hop fans! If you find yourself to be one these, then read on a little bit!

Proklaim have just released their newest single, “Priceless” and I got to say it is amazing!

“Priceless” is a nice, laid-back rap, yet melodic track, that just gets you falling in love with Proklaim and his music. His music has similarities to other artists such as Tupac, Jay-Z and Big Pu, but he definitely creates his own sound.

One thing that I absolutely love about this track is that it is the perfect mixture of hard rap and lyrical singing. The rap is fantastic, and I must say Proklaim is super talented. However, the more melodic choruses, are a lovely break away from the rap, and get you ready for the next verse.

Proklaim is definitely an artist who deserves more credit, and it should be instead of asking who Proklaim is, we should be asking when is his next song being released!

Go give “Priceless” a little listen to, you can find it on multiple musical platforms now!

M-Dot – One Day At A Time

So, who is M-Dot? Well, M-Dot is an independent musician and singer-songwriter who has been in the music industry for over two decades! He is a very hip-hop/rap-based artist, who is able to write his own songs, produce them and also perform live! You will often find him writing about his own personal experiences and things that are important to him, giving his music a much deeper meaning.

“One Day At A Time” is a single of M-Dot’s for which he has teamed up with Mary Lankford and was released back in 2021. This is a very underground rap style of song but is extremely interesting. The beat is quite relaxed but still manages to get you bopping your head to it.

M-Dot does some exceptional rapping in the verses and Mary Lankford takes on the role of more melodic choruses. This is the perfect combination, and you will find yourself loving both of the artists just as much as I do!

Rap fan or not, give M-Dot and his hit “One Day At A Time” a listen to and you will definitely not regret it!

KOTC Clan – Mirror Selfie (Mirror On The Wall)

KOTC Clan, otherwise known as Kings of the Clout Clan, is a musical group full of talent. There are three rappers/singers and a musical band that accompanies them in their amazing work! KOTC Clan are a very new group, with the track that we are looking at today, “Mirror Selfie”, only being their second release.

“Mirror Selfie” is an exceptional R&B, Hip-Hop song, that is just full of good vibes. This is the kind of song that you will find stuck in your head all day and will end up singing it whilst at work! Since first hearing this track, I have not been able to turn it off! The music is quite upbeat and will make you want to dance along to it!

The vocals in this one are mainly male, and his voice is the perfect fit for this one! He has such a contagious voice, which just makes the song even more enjoyable.

Whether this kind of music is usually your cup of tea or not, you must listen to KOTC Clan’s newest track. I am personally super excited to see what else they have in store for us in the future!

Eagle Owl – INFINITY EP

Eagle Owl is a Canadian artist, who creates music inspired from genres such as hip-hop and R&B. His music often touches on relatable content, hard-hitting topics, and life lessons. Eagle Owl has previously created songs that are about abuse and pain, and how God helped him through it.

He has already done shows in Winnipeg for the past few years but is eager to expand his following. Due to his music being of R&B and hip-hop origin, Eagle Owl takes influence from artists such as Kamban, TFK, 12AM and Josh A.

Anyway, now Eagle Owl has arrived again with another great new EP, “INFINITY”. This collection has just dropped at the start of 2023, and I must say it is amazing! “INFINITY” is a five-track long EP and is honestly so worth listening to!

The first song on “INFINITY” is a track that has already been released and had so much recognition called “LET GO”. This song is amazing, and really gets you moving your body. The beat is incredibly catchy, and the vocals are unique, yet so good! This is one of those songs you could listen to on repeat all day!

For me, my favourite track has got to be the fourth one! “Blacktop (Abuse ll)” is the outcome of a collaboration between Eagle Owl and Droryboy. This song is the perfect hip-hop hit with inclusions of rap too! The two artists combine exceptionally well, and this track undoubtedly deserves so much credit!

In reality, five tracks are just not enough! I am completely obsessed with “INFINITY” and you should definitely give it a go, because it is amazing! If you find yourself to be a fan of hip-hop then you MUST give Eagle Owl’s music a listen to, as it is just perfect for hip-hop/rap fans!

Mars Valencia – Last Night In Lisboa

Mars Valencia was born in South London and has spent the past four years learning about music and its production. His music is self-produced, and he has high hopes for the future. And with his ambitious, hard-working attitude, Mars Valencia has just released a new single called “Last Night In Lisboa” and I have to say it is amazing!

“Last Night In Lisboa” is the perfect, chilled rap track, that is full of outstanding rapping, brilliant music, and a great production. It is undoubtable that Mars’ rapping, and vocalism is fantastic, and I don’t know about you but when I hear his voice, it seems to have a soothing effect on me.

Another thing I love about this tune is the music. The beat is hard, yet relaxed and has a very catchy tone to it, making the track even more lovable. Although there is not much change in the music during the song, the vocals take over and let us really appreciate his voice.

If you find yourself a fan of rap or hip-hop, then be sure to give Mars Valencia’s new track a little listen to, and I promise you will love it!

Mick J Clark – Me, My Body And I

We have reviewed previous releases by Mick J Clark and we must say that we were not disappointed this time either. Although the three last reviews were for Christmas songs, this one proves that Mick is not just a one time a year singer!

Opening with a classic rock riff, his country rock-tinged vocals soon kick in with some very catchy lyrics and chorus. His vocals are gentle yet powerful and the female backups are a great accompaniment.

The guitar work in the background of the song is very prominent but does not overshadow any of the other instruments or vocals and the solos are very bluesy and to try and contain this into just one genre is impossible.

The track is a very bouncy and upbeat song and will certainly have you dancing round your living room at the very least, but if you are not that energetic you will definitely be tapping your foot. With lyrics that will worm their way into your head and take root, this is a track that you will be humming for hours!

Mick has been making genre bending music for over a decade now, and within that time he has written over sixty songs and received over a million streams on Spotify.

We urge you to go and check out this one too.

Another great track Mick!

H A Z E – Future/Past EP

Hazel Smith, the former lead singer of the band D’Haze, has taken her own solo path in the music industry. Her new solo project, otherwise known as H A Z E, includes a great deal of dark pop and electro, with experiments with many genres such as synth wave and prog rock. In this instance, Hazel is taking influence from other artists such as Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Billie Eilish.

For today, we are looking at H A Z E’s first ever EP release, which dropped a few months back. “Future/Past” is a four-track long EP and is absolutely amazing! Each and every song has its own specialities, and I cannot fault them at all!

The music in this EP has a very dark side to it, and even can come across as slightly intimidating.

My personal favourite track from the collection has got to be track number two, “Shadow.” This one is slightly more laid-back compared to the rest, and we really get to hear Hazel’s talented voice in this song. Her vocals are outstanding and are so lovely to listen to. The music starts off quiet, with just a simple beat and a piano, giving a slightly softer effect. This then builds up as the song goes on, engrossing us more and more as it continues.

Unlike “Shadow,” the third track of the EP, “Owe Me,” is more of an upbeat, powerful sounding track. For this masterpiece, Hazel has teamed up with Reckless Jacks and have created a harder sound, which is full of energy. I also love this track, with the music, the vocals and the vibe being absolutely outstanding!

I do not think that I can personally give this EP the recognition and justice that it deserves, so you must give Hazel and her first EP as a soloist a listen to. “Future/Past” is available to listen to on Spotify now, and I can promise you this is not one to just breeze past!
