For this review we are going to be looking at a brand-new, incredible release by ELJay and this one titled, “Lost”.

But before we get onto the track, let’s have a little look at the artist. ELJay is a young, 20-year-old, independent artist and producer, who never fails to impress. Hailing from Scotland, ELJay creates catchy, emotive tunes, allowing her to connect with her listeners.

“Lost” is a unique one, because despite it following a dance style, ELJay is able to tell an emotive story, allowing the listener to not only be able to feel the release and groove along, but also resonate with ELJay’s deeper, meaningful lyrics.

The track kicks off with a rhythmic synth, with a ticking backbeat, which soon builds to that upbeat, groovy tune. With the ability to pop along, this track has the ability to linger long after it’s ended.

Focusing on ELJay’s vocals let me start off by saying, wow. ELJay’s vocals are somehow soft, yet powerful. Her angelic performance shows us just how talented she truly is.
