Elias Dream is a compelling artist, who combines a range of different genres, to create unique, captivating tunes. For this review we are going to be looking a track of Elias’ that was released last month, and this one is titled, “Serra”.

“Serra” is dark, authentic track, focusing on the idea of attention turning into unhealthy obsession. Combing the use of hard rap with powerful rock, this track is truly a masterpiece.

Serra kicks off with an intense, intriguing spoken-word intro which soon turns to a menacing laugh alongside some hard rock, instantly engrossing us. The music throughout this track is catchy, and quite fast-paced. With a heavy drumbeat, you just cannot help but bop along to this one.

In terms of vocals, there is no denying that Elias has smashed it. His vocals are very flexible, with the use of rap verses, and a more sung chorus. His voice fits insanely well with the style. Towards the end of the track, we hear the opposing side of the story, a female vocalist speaking her experience from this ‘obsession’, further adding depth and interest to this track.

“Serra” by Elias Dream is out now and you have got to hear it.
