“Funeral (For The Girl I Was)” is a new, incredible track that was released by Fanny Alexandra and I cannot wait to share this one with you all.
In terms of music, it is an intriguing one. Kicking off with a soft, mellow piano led intro, we are instantly drawn in. The music is delicate and quite saddening, however we are soon welcomed to a dark, angrier rock style chorus. This gives the song its strength and shows Fanny’s true feelings.
In terms of vocals, again Fanny has smashed it. She has a fantastic, flexible voice. She reaches some brilliant soft and high notes during the melancholic verses and can then switch to a powerful and leading chorus. This just further proves her talent and keeps us engrossed in Fanny and her track.
