John Arter – Homegirl

John Arter is an exceptional singer-songwriter who is currently based in Surrey. Over the past few years, he has begun his solo career after featuring in a band. And today we are looking at a newer track of his, and this one is titled, “Homegirl”.

“Homegirl” is a playful, acoustic track, that is just amazing. It has a lovely, warm feel to it, all about the way we escape from the world whilst reading. With its stunning guitar strums and catchy xylophone rhythm, you will find yourself completely and utterly obsessed with this track. It combines the soft, mellower side of country, with a slightly more upbeat groove, and the way he has done this has resulted in a brilliant track.

Now, let’s talk vocals. John, without a doubt, has an exceptional voice. His vocals are very raw and real, making his words not only lovely to listen to, but also relatable too. He has quite a wide vocal range, and in this track, we can really see just how talented he is.

“Homegirl” by John Arter is out now and it needs to be heard. So, head on over to Spotify and how him the love and support that he deserves!
