The Phensic – DCxPC Live Vol.23 Album Review

The Phensic is an incredible group which includes members of the ska/reggae brands, Bigger Thomas, Hub City Stompers and Rude Boy George. Their music is one that is unique as they create a groovy mix of 60s and 70s reggae and punk.

Today we are looking at The Phensic’s newest album, “DCxPC Live Vol.23” that consists of seven brilliant, live studio tracks.

Kicking off the album we have, “Don’t Test Me”. This is the perfect start to an amazing album. It begins with some rocky, and talented musicians, and straight away we are hooked. The music is quite funky, and you just cannot help but dance along to it and be excited to hear the rest of the collection.

One track that really caught my eye was, “I Got The Feeling”. Everything about this tune is great, the music, the vocals and even the lyrics. The reggae style really shines through in this one, as you will find the beat is incredibly catchy and contagious.

“War Inside” is, of course, another brilliant track. One thing that stood out to me in this one was the vocals. There is no denying that the main vocalist has a fantastic voice and is clearly very talented. Alongside backing vocals, the singing in this one will have you intrigued.

And to finish off the album we have, “Unchained”. This is a brilliant ending, to a brilliant album, and I just cannot get enough of it.

This album by The Phensic is better than anything you can imagine, and being a liv studio recording, we able to see true talent.

Russell Oliver Stone – We Gotta Wake Up

For today’s review we are going to be looking at Russell Oliver Stone and one of his newest tracks. “We Gotta Wake Up” is the first track in his recent album, “The Calling” and I must say it is incredible!

This track is a smooth, jazz tune that will definitely have you hooked. Kicking off we have an intense music intro, and straight away we are obsessed. The music in this one does begin quite slowly, but soon builds up to a catchy, groovy beat, one that you just cannot help but groove along to.

The vocals in this one are also amazing. His voice is one that is deep, mysterious, but also extremely flexible.

Lasting over seven minutes long, we are able to really enjoy and understand Russell’s style. There is not a single second that you will find yourself bored.

Kate Pending – Pigmented Reality Album Review

Kate Pending has just released a brand-new album, “Pigmented Reality” and I cannot wait to share it with you all.

But before, we get onto the album, let’s have a little look at who Kate Pending is. Kate is an incredible artist, who uses music as an expression. Her new album is an electronic, edgy piece that will definitely have you stunned.

“Pigmented Reality” consists of fifteen tracks, twelve original tracks, and three remixes of some songs. And kicking off the album we have, “Lost Ways”. This is the perfect start to the album, the beats and electronic synths will have you hooked and eager to hear the rest of the album.

The fourth track is the title track, “Pigmented Reality”. This a brilliant tune that starts off quite mysteriously, and then soon a beat kicks in that will certainly get you grooving along. The vocals are quite minimalistic in this one but there is no denying that they are amazing.

One track that really stood out to me was “Punk Kids”. I like this one due to the spoken word vocals are electrifying beat. You will be dancing, but also intrigued simultaneously. Kate has done an exceptional job with the electro side of this track, and I cannot fault her at all!

And the final track, before the remixes, is “Waiting Game”. This is the perfect end, to the perfect album. The music is unique, enjoyable and groovy and it is one that you will play all day long. The vocals are just amazing, and I love it.

Bloodlin3 – No Mercy

“No Mercy” is the brand-new single by Bloodlin3 and there is no denying that it is incredible. Bloodlin3 is an incredible artist who is heavily influenced by the likes of Eminem, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Twista.

“No Mercy” starts off with an intense beat that will have you hooked. As soon as Bloodlin3’s rapping vocals kick in we are just stunned. There is no doubting that he has an exceptional voice, one that is skilful, and just so incredibly talented.

The music will have you bopping your head, and it is undeniably one that everyone can enjoy, so be sure give it a little listen to.

“Killing Season” is a single that was released by Marky J last yar and I must say I cannot wait to review it.

Marky J is an incredibly talented artist, and he just keeps getting better and better.

“Killing Season” is a punk-rock hit. One that has a catchy beat, and one that you just cannot help but rock along to. The drums will have your head bopping, and the electrifying guitars will have you hooked.

Marky J clearly has an exceptional voice. He can sing, and he can even rap, and I just cannot get enough of it.

Jonny Gems – Last Night

“Last Night” is a brand-new single by Jonny Gems and I must say, it is amazing.

Jonny Gems is a rapper from Canada, who never fails to impress. And his new track, has got to be his best one yet!

“Last Night” has a catchy, contagious beat, which has a slight sultry tone to it. It gets your body grooving, and you just cannot help but enjoy it.

There is no denying that Jonny is incredibly talented, and his rapping skills are beyond belief. His voice is just soothing, and the way he presents his music is just insane.

The Gerry Farrow Band – Be Someone Else

For this review, we are focusing on The Gerry Farrow Band’s newest single, “Be Someone Else” and I must say it is amazing!

But before we get onto that, let’s have a little look at The Gerry Farrow Band. Led by singer-songwriter Gerry Farrow, the band have come together to create some amazing pieces. With influences such as Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac and Crowded House, the band follow a rock/country style.

“Be Someone Else” begins with a catchy, unique beat, and straight away we are hooked. The music is quite soft at the start however it does pick up to a beat we just cannot help but dance to!

The vocals are also brilliant in this tune too. Gerry has a very differential voice, but it is amazing, and his talent shines through is this track in particular.

The Project – No Hard Feelings

Today we are looking at new track that was released earlier this year by The Project and this one is titled, “No Hard Feelings”.

“No Hard Feelings” is a rock track, that is upbeat, enjoyable and just overall amazing. The rock beat will undoubtedly have your head bopping, and you just won’t be able to turn it off!

The electrifying guitars and the hard drums will have you hooked, and I just cannot the fault The Project at all.

Bad Bubble is an extremely talented artist, writer and performer, who never fails to impress with his music. And today we are looking at one of his most recent releases, “This Is For Priscilla”.

This track is an electronic, dream-pop hit, that is just brilliant. The sound is an out of this world experience, and the music will certainly have you in your feels. The distorted music is intriguing and will have you hooked.

Molly Baker – June 28th

“June 28th” is the brand-new track by Molly Baker, and I must say it is amazing. But before we get onto that, let’s have a little look at the artist.

Molly Baker is a talented singer, guitarist and pianist. She follows the style of pop and indie and uses artists such as Stevie Nicks, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift as influences.

Anyways, back to “June 28th”.  This track begins with a soft, piano intro, and oh my goodness, it is beautiful. The melodic sound combined with Molly’s stunning vocals have truly created a masterpiece.

I cannot express how brilliant Molly’s voice is. Her vocals are flexible, skilful, and the way she can hit some notes is just incredible!
