Hannyta – Fluctuating

Dance pop with an edgy inspiration? 100%

I was taken by surprise with how much I enjoyed this song. Everything about it is absolutely amazing, the vocals, the beat, the lyrics, the vibe.

Quite often we experience that fight between our head and heart when it comes to difficult relationships and Hannyta is expressing this topic within the lyrics of her song. However, rather than portraying it in a sad, dull song, she uses her talent and knowledge of the electronic/dance pop genre to do so.

The vocals in “Fluctuating” are outstanding, and as a young artist of just 17 years, her voice quite literally takes your breath away. She sings alone, and still manages to maintain an interest and love of her voice.

The song is upbeat and brings you up on your feet to dance to.

Whether dance pop is your taste or not, I can guarantee you that you will dig this song and you will feel an urge to dance to it. So please go ahead and listen to Hannyta’s track and help boost her listening.

Kyle M Watson – WHAT NOW (Triggered)

“What now” is an absolutely great and catchy song, that I can assure you, you will love!

Everybody loves a bit of Ne-Yo style R&B, and this a perfect example of that. The song has a positive vibe to it, and it cannot be faulted in anyway.

Kyle’s vocals are also exceptional in this song. His voice is very laid back, but we can really hear the talent that he possess in this song. The backing vocals, towards the latter half of the track, really compliment the lead.

The musical side of Watson’s track also really help with the good feel of the song. It is very catchy and is one that just makes you want to dance to.

I could not recommend this song enough and as a lover of R&B “What now” is hands down a great song, that is full of potential. Nonetheless, please go support Kyle and his music, he certainly deserves it!

Rachel Davie Lee – Love Is In The Air

OMG! What a beautiful voice Rachel has!

The first time I heard this song, I was drawn to the vocals and how well she sounds. At different times, we can hear her large vocal range, as she expresses using both high and low notes.

This is one of those lovely, warm songs about romance, that we are all guilty of loving! It is also perfect to dance to with your loved ones.

It begins with a gorgeous melodic piano, really showing the romanticism of the song. This is then joined with a steady beat, that is maintained throughout the remaining of the song. Rachel’s steady beat almost reminds me of a heartbeat, symbolising everlasting love between two people.

Overall, this song is a perfect pop love song, and is definitely one that I’ll be adding to my playlist.

Anyways, please go and give Rachel Davie Lee’s song a little listen to.

Jen Ash – Crush On You

“Crush on you” is the perfect 90s style R&B hit, that we all love to hear!

Jen’s song is an upbeat, mood lifting track, that is perfect for listening to. She vocalises about that exciting thrill you get when you have a crush on somebody new. Even by listening to the song, we can really feel that excitement that is being sung about.

The vocals in this track are also outstanding and she has a voice that is perfect for this kind of music. Her sound reminds me of artists that we all know and love, like Beyoncé and Mariah Carey.

Everything about this song is great, the beat, the rhythm, the vocals, the lyrics. Jen Ash has really shown her talent in this track, as not only does she sing well, but she has also structured the song in such a way that makes it more appealing to the listener.

Sasha Bonn – Omega

You know sometimes you hear that song, which is not usually your kind of music, but it takes you by surprise, this is one of those.

“Omega” gives you a feeling of outer space from the very start due to the electronic beats of the song. It is very 90s style inspired electro pop.

The spoken-word vocals also bring a very robotic, and spacelike vibe. Sasha Bonn’s voice is very distinctive and brings overwhelming power to the song.

“Omega” is the last letter in the Greek alphabet and therefore singing about “getting to omega”, shows that they want to reach the big finale, and end up at the end together. The idea of an ever-lasting relationship, is something that many want, and Sasha sings about it in a more upbeat, dance way, rather than an emotional way like many other artists.

If electronic pop or dance music is your style, then you must give this song a listen to!

Allie Jason – Best Thing That I Ever Did

This is another one of those amazing, mellow pop songs, that just soothes and warms you. The melodies and music match perfectly.

We are welcomed with Allie’s soothing voice, and she honestly pulled the cat out the bag with this one! The backing vocals in the “Best thing that I ever did”, also bring a perfect touch, as they really compliment the lead vocals.

The lyrics to this song appear to be telling us about the relief and benefit of leaving a toxic or dangerous relation. The good thing about this lyrical style is that many of us can relate to, therefore improving it even more.

The slight beat is great to vibe to and has the effect of elevating your mood. Allie ensures there is nothing too loud and overpowering, to really let her vocals shine.

Allie Jason is so underrated and definitely needs to be heard. She has an absolutely beautiful voice and once you hear it, I promise you, that you will share my opinions!

If you are one of those who loves a good R&B track, that is bold and vibrant, then this song is definitely the one for you! Although “Do it all 4 me” is an R&B track, you can undoubtedly see elements of pop and even soul.

First and foremost, Enoka’s vocalism is outstanding as she is so strong and powerful. Her voice really makes the song.

The beats and the bass line in this song are so captivating and constructs a feeling of positivity. It keeps a steady sound, which you can tell has been carefully structured to keep the song flowing.

Sam Marke – Burden To Bear

WOW!

All I can say is what amazing vocals Sam presents in this song! I personally love that tender, emotional side to music that artists like Sam Smith and Lewis Capaldi share. Marke clearly has the potential, and his singing should 100% be heard.

Sam sings about his personal experiences of dealing with his autism and the feeling of being isolated and so nervous that it overpowers him. Not only is this song an amazing song, it’s also one that can be related to by many, which just makes it that so much better.

The piano in this song is the perfect instrument to blend with his vocals and help add to that mournful tone. Marke ends the song quietly after a climax, leaving us feeling all the effects of the song.

Sam Marke’s song is not one of those that you can just skip, it has to be heard! It’s perfect for that vibe of a late night drive with your pals, belting out the lyrics, getting in the feels.

Rick Smoove – U Miss Me

What an absolutely extraordinary piece “U Miss Me” is! This song is the perfect combination rap and R&B, which just makes you want to bop your head and tap your foot to.

The vocals on both parts are incredible and creates an amazing balance of Rick’s rap and choric singing. The rap smoothly makes its way through the song, and the power in his voice really shines through in this song. The backing vocals also give an effective touch to the song, as the two artists sing together as one, rather than it sounding like two separate songs. Not only is the rap and backing vocals amazing, but the chorus also brings that break from rap to a nice R&B sound. The beat keeps up all through the song, helping the flow of the track.

Honestly, if you are a fan of pop, rap or R&B, then this is the ideal one for you! This song has elements of each genre, keeping the listener enticed at all times. I cannot describe how great this song is, you must check it out for yourselves!
