Terry Blade – Won’t Be Around

Terry Blade is a multi-genre singer-songwriter, from Chicago, who is rapidly growing his following and his work is extremely diverse and loved by everyone. He takes heavy inspiration from other musicians such as Isaac Hayes, Gill Scott-Heron, and Will Downing. Terry has won over forty awards, including ‘Best Folk Song’ for Clouzine’s Magazine and his music has been featured by many publications including, Country Queer, Indie Top 39, and Adobe & Teardrops. Terry has now just kicked off the new year with another fantastic track, and this one is called “Won’t Be Around.”

“Won’t Be Around” is an incredible acoustic, folk song, that is insanely captivating. The music is beautiful with its slow-paced beat, but you still find yourself tapping your foot along to it. The instruments work extremely well together and make the song so enjoyable.

All I can say about Terry’s vocals is ‘WOW.’ His voice is exceptional, he sings so well, and his voice is just simply euphonious. I cannot fault this song at all, and it is wonderful way for Terry to kick off his new year, hopefully full of music.

I cannot recommend Terry and his song, “Won’t Be Around” enough, as it definitely must be heard widely!

Christopher Labi Rance – Cold Christmas Eve

Christopher Labi Rance are back but this time with their own Christmas tune! Between them they are creating more and more music for us, which will also be released soon! However, they have already released music video to accompany their track a “Cold Christmas Eve,” which stars Silke Natho from Cologne.

“Cold Christmas Eve” is a rock style festive song that has a slightly dark and edgy element to it. With a former band member on the drums, Mr. Geoffrey M. Svalbard, the beat is hard and extremely contagious. This is the kind of the track that you will often find yourself banging your head along to it. The band were eager to get that concept of Christmas and how it makes you feel about that special someone.

You cannot deny that the vocals in this track are amazing! The male vocals are remarkably effective and enable us to hear the rawness and emotion in his voice. I personally really want to hear other music by the band after finding this song.

You can listen to and watch the music video to this track on YouTube now!

Lottie Zttarr – Digital Age

A 60s inspired garage rock, gospel, folk and pop artist takes inspiration from around the world and goes under the name Lottie Zttarr. No music of hers is the same, as she continues to experiment and explore different musical soundscapes.

Lottie has just dropped her new hit “Digital Age” in November of 2022, and I am absolutely in love with it! The track is a soft-rock yet folk, yet pop track, and is honestly amazing. From the moment I first heard this song, I have not been able to get it out of my head and find myself often putting it on again and again. The good thing about “Digital Age” is that it is the kind of tune that can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone, no matter what kind of music taste you have.

Lottie’s vocals are different from other artists, and her voice is incredibly distinctive. She has that raw effect, that just makes us so intrigued with her voice and the music in the background.

After hearing “Digital Age,” I am super excited to see what else Lottie brings out in the near future. However, for now, this track of Lottie’s can be found across all platforms!

Ninni – For The Last Time

Ninni is an artist who just loves music and creating it! “For The Last Time” is Ninni’s most recent single that was dropped in the beginning of December 2022, and I must say, it is a great track!

“For The Last Time” is a beautiful acoustic piece, that is short but sweet! With just under two minutes of music, you find yourself never feeling bored of the track.

The acoustic guitar is extremely effective and creates a feeling of relaxation. I mean we all love to sometimes sit back and just take a moment to enjoy music, and this song is absolutely perfect for that!

Ninni’s vocals in this track are also amazing! He sings with such a soothing and melodic tone, and this really engrosses us into the song. I personally love his vocals and find them flawless.

If you are fan of acoustic tracks, relaxing music, or even just soft sounding songs, then “For The Last Time” has got to be the one for you! Make sure you give Ninni’s work a little listen to and you will not be disappointed.

Ally Cribb – California

Ally Cribb is a young artist of just 18 years old, from Toronto, Canada. Ally has always had a passion for music, due to her father, who is also a musician himself. She began singing lessons at just the age of eight, and now writes her own music, and when she finds herself going through a significant event in her life, she uses music to help her through it. Ally is not only a singer, but she has the ability to play piano and guitar!

Honestly, when I first heard “California,” from her new album ‘Unbroken,’ I was impressed by her talent. Everything about this song is beautiful and it takes to another dimension with her sweet sound.

“California” is an acoustic country song, with an element of pop. The instrumental side of this track is amazing, with an acoustic guitar being the main character, the song has a more relaxing effect.

Now, the most amazing part of this song has got to be Ally’s vocals! Even though she is a young artist, just beginning her music career, she sounds like a mature, experienced artist. Her voice has such a soothing effect, and she expresses emotion exceptionally well throughout the song. The way Ally sings fits perfectly with the music style of this track and listening to it is like it came from heaven!

This is one of those songs that you will never forget about, and you must listen to! Her whole album is available to listen to now!

Jeff Lake & Cellophane Flowers – Happy Xmas (War Is Over) Cover

Jeff Lake, the leader, and singer/songwriter of the band Cellophane Flowers is slowly rising in the music industry. Jeff has previously performed with major artists such as Extreme, Winger and White Lion & Zebra. The group often take on a neo-classical spin on pop music.

Sometimes it is nice to hear different artists and their interpretation on other songs. “Happy Xmas” was originally sung by John Lennon, and I must say it has got to be one of my personal favourites. When I came across this cover, I was worried with how it was going to sound, but in the end, Jeff has done exceptionally well with it.

The sound of this track is a little more modern compared to the original that was released in 1971, and I find the recording a lot clearer. The vocals in this take on the song are amazing, and although it is strange not hearing Lennon’s voice, Jeff’s new and fresh vocals give the track an amazing effect. The band have ensured the use of Christmas bells and chimes to add to that Christmassy feel.

With Christmas just right around the corner, I am so glad I have heard this rendition. If you find yourself in that Christmas spirit, but want to hear something slightly different than usual, then give Jeff and his band’s version of “Happy Xmas” a little listen to!

Paige Wolfe – 11:34

The new Welsh country artist Paige Wolfe reaches out to combine country with soul to create her own unique sound. Paige takes inspiration from many well-known artists including, Rihanna, Elvis Costello, and Kehlani & Sasha Sloan.

“11:34” is a rock-pop hit, that is absolutely amazing. With a sexy element, her lyrics and voice are the highlight of the track. This song has heavy rock elements, with an unusual yet amazing drum pattern.

Paige’s vocals are absolutely outstanding in “11:34,” and she has that kind of voice that you cannot resist. Paige has also included back-up vocals at certain points, which really harmonize well with her own vocals.

The meaning of the track is quite odd really, as she sings about falling in love with the devil, and how she is on her way to hell due to her love for him. This can be interpreted in many ways, as some people usual go for the ‘bad boy’ which can be bad news.

After hearing Paige and her track, I am eager to see what else she brings out. “11:34” is a track that can be loved and appreciated by everyone, so make sure you give it a listen to.

Silas Armstrong – So Much For Love (Aymen Valentino Remix

Silas Armstrong is a growing artist, who has been in the music industry for years. Silas has previously performed as a drummer in an indie-rock band ‘Kid Champion’ and also played on the keys for the pop group ‘Youth Club.’ During his career, he has also performed on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury and toured as a supporting act for ‘Panic At The Disco!’ His recent debut EP, “So Much For Love” has already reached over 240,000 streams.

Today we are having a listen to Silas’ newest single, a remix of “So Much For Love.” I personally have not been able to turn off this song since I first heard it, as I just love it that much! It is the perfect electronic pop/dance hit and is the perfect song for a nightclub.

The song definitely deserves some more recognition, with its captivating beat, and engrossing basslines. Not only is the musical side of this track amazing, but the vocals are too! The way the vocals are presented in “So Much For Love” is super effective, and his voice is superb.

I honestly cannot give this song enough credit, so go and give it a listen to and you will not be disappointed!

Boyforever – Party Wall

Boyforever have just dropped their newest groovy single, “Party Wall” and it is now available across all platforms! “Party Wall” is a fantastic track, that just makes you want to get up and dance.

This track has something about it that you cannot seem to forget, it is the kind of song that gets you obsessed. Although this track includes many ‘abnormal’ elements, its uniqueness is what drives this song to be so great. The beat is joyful and buoyant, and automatically raises your mood. Boyforever also add a cheering of a crowd sound in the background which really shows the distinctiveness and experimental side of “Party Wall.”

The vocals, by Boyforever, are another great aspect of the song, and they really intrigue us. The vocals are extremely raw and have their own particular sound.

I am so excited to see what else this artist has in store for us, and I am definitely going to be sitting around impatiently waiting for the next single to be dropped. If you find yourself to be a lover of electronic/indie pop, then this track is a must listen for you!

Dioneesus – Social Media Masterpiece

Dioneesus is the name in which Dennis McGrath works behind. The m ajority of his work is influenced by hip-hop, yet there are aspects avant-pop and other genres. You will never find yourself bored of Dioneesus as every song differentiates from one another. His sound is always fresh and interesting. Dennis creates music with the intention of getting people to look at situations differently and bring people together.

After previously hearing his amazing single “Lolita”, when I saw he had brought out his newest single, “Social Media Masterpiece”, I could not wait to give it a listen to.

The track is an amazing alternative pop hit, and I personally love it. The beat is more of a relaxed, mellow pop style, but it remains catchy somehow. The beat gets you bopping your head and tapping your foot along to it.

The vocalists voice blend together exceptionally well, as the opposing genders each have their own parts. As they sing about an important modern-day topic of social media, we find ourselves falling in love with their unique vocals.

I am so intrigued to see what other music Dennis will create under Dioneesus. Give “Social Media Masterpiece” a little go, and you will be pleasantly surprised.
