Sugar Nova – Tiny Helicopters

After hearing work of Sugar Nova’s in the past, I was super excited to hear what else they had created!

Sugar Nova are a Denver based duo that consists of the singer Raven Jane and Luke Miller. Sugar Nova create some fantastic music that includes elements of indie-dance, disco, electronic/dream pop and chillwave. However, they often imbed deep lyrical meanings to their music, and somehow maintain an upbeat, dance track!

“Tiny Helicopters” is the duo’s latest single, that dropped at the end of last year! This is the kind of track that you will become obsessed with after one listen, undoubtedly!

Although the song begins slowly, with an introduction of Raven Jane’s voice, it builds up to a catchier and dance beat. The beat drop in the chorus is one that will get you moving your body too!

Without a doubt, Raven’s beautiful vocals are incredible in this song. She sings with such passion and purity, and her voice has something special about it. Her vocalism is one that you can never tire of, and even has angelic reminders!

If you are in the mood for a catchy, yet laid-back track, then “Tiny Helicopters” is undoubtedly the one you need to listen to!

PRATTO is a skilled music artist and producer, who is climbing his way to the top in the electronic music industry. PRATTO is originally from Miami and has been creating music for over a decade, with inspirations from other amazing stars such as Cedric Gervais, Tiesto, Jay Z, Eminem, and Outcast! PRATTO has been working hard on fresh music for the new year, and he has just released a new hit, “Into The Night”.

“Into The Night” was created by not only PRATTO himself, but also Jordan Grace too! From the second I heard this song, it is safe to say I was addicted! It is the ultimate club hit, that is full of good vibes, and sets the perfect mood for partying!

The beat builds its way up to the chorus each time, leading to a catchy, and dance feeling! I honestly can imagine this being heard in a nightclub and it would be absolutely amazing! The piece that PRATTO has put together for this, cannot be faulted!

Without a doubt, the vocalism in this track is also fantastic! Although, the music is very club like, the vocals are more laid-back. He sings with such purity, and you will just honestly fall in love with his voice!

This new track by PRATTO is already out across different music platforms, and you should definitely give this one a go!

Marcus Smith – Day After Day

Marcus Smith has just released a new song, “Day After Day” and it is not one to be missed!

First of all, Marcus Smith is a rapper, singer and songwriter, who has been in the music industry for years! Marcus is from Cleveland in Ohio and has the skill of being a multi-instrumentalist. Starting from just the age of 14, he taught himself to play piano, and has constantly been around music his whole life. Marcus has previously been a part of various bands, however now he has taken the solo route and is smashing it so far!

“Day After Day” is the ultimate alternative pop hit, that includes elements of rock, rap and hip-hop and it is just incredible! The song kicks off with a strong beat and musical introduction, which straight away gets us hooked! The music is very catchy and will definitely get you moving your body.

The unique thing about this song is the combination of genres. The chorus is amazingly sung, and Marcus is clearly very skilled. However, that is not all, the verses take on a more rap format, and honestly is just incredible!

“Day After Day” has got to be one of the best tracks that I have recently come across and is just perfect for everyone! This is undoubtedly a perfect track for singing with your family and friends!

Dre Day 100 – F’N Up Pt.2

Dre Day 100 is a new, rising artist, who mainly focuses on the music genre rap. Dre Day 100 is originally from Austin, Texas, and has already had the chance to be an opening act for Riff Raff, Xavier and ESG! His music is one that you definitely need to hear, as he creates music inspired from major rap stars, like Snoop Dogg, Tupac and DJ Quik. He combines the idea of old school and new school, resulting in fresh, yet nostalgic, amazing music!

Dre Day has just released his latest track, “F’N Up Pt.2”, which he teamed up with Lucky Lou to create and I have to say it is fantastic! Rap is usually a very marmite type of genre, however, I think whether you are a fan of rap or not, you will be able to enjoy this new track!

The thing I love about this tune is that it has an incredibly catchy beat to it, and although it is simplistic, it enables the rapping to really be heard. The music will undoubtedly get you bopping your head along to it too!

I think we can all agree that the rapping in this track is absolutely outstanding! Dre Day 100 has so much potential, and I cannot wait to see him and his rapping progress over time.

All I can say really is just go give this track a listen to!

XPQ-21 – Temptation

Jeyênne is the face behind XPQ-21, and he is a mastermind, producer and singer! Jeyênne first appeared in the 90s as a techno/rave artist, getting the chance to tour with Prodigy and Moby! After this he toured for a decade across Europe and the USA, then eventually retiring to open his own music school in Germany. Now, over the last couple of years he has released some more music and I must say, he is still just as amazing!

Today’s review will be on his newest release, “Temptation” of which there is two versions, one being the “Korgen Aamat Version”. This, as always, is a very techno tune, with clear inspiration from the 90s, possibly reflecting his old music onto his new! The upbeat sound enables that dance feel, and one I could definitely imagine being played in a rave!

Although the beat is amazing, XPQ-21 also adds some intriguing sounds within the track, some that almost feel astrological, but some that feel very urban! For me, these added synths and beats, engross the listener even more!

The male vocals are quite robotic, yet they are perfect for this track and in fact are quite interesting!

If you find yourself to be a techno/rave fan, then go and give XPQ-21’s “Temptation” a listen to!

Ceyeo – Ecstacy

“Ecstacy” is Ceyeo’s most recent single, that was released at the beginning of this year. But first of all, let’s talk about who Ceyeo actually is.

Well, Ceyeo is a Chicago based artist, who has just begun his career in the music industry. His first ever album was only released last year in 2022 and received over 2.5 million streams across 100 different countries.

Ceyeo often mixes different genres like EDM, rock, hip-hop and R&B and is inspired by artists from the 60s and 70s.

“Ecstacy” is a funky, upbeat electronic pop song, that is just the ultimate party hit! This song has incredibly catchy elements with its beat and dance feeling. One thing I love about this track is that rather than it being extreme rave music, it is a more laid-back song.

Although the music and the beat are the highlight of this track, Ceyeo has also included some vocals too! The vocals have a distorted twinge to them and fit so perfectly with the rest of the song! “Ecstacy” ends with some lovely vocals, taking the song down a bit, leading it to a quiet, relaxing ending!

I cannot describe how much I love this track and how well Ceyeo has done with this one! Go and give “Ecstacy” a listen to now and you will not be disappointed!

Adik Angel – EVASIONS

Adik Angel is a Bulgarian composer, who is now creating music in the heart of Switzerland! She has always had a passion for music and loves to mix up multiple genres, including Pop, Electro, Dance and even Hip-Hop! Adik has already released over 7 albums and is still working on many other music projects.

Today’s review will be on her new drop, “EVASIONS.” “EVASIONS” is the ultimate dance, electro-pop hit, that is perfect for the nightclub! The beat is incredibly catchy and will undoubtedly get you up on your feet dancing. It also has elements of 80s/90s club hits, and I cannot fault it at all!

There are limited female vocals included in this track, which fit the music so well! The voice is incredible, and I honestly just love it!

This is one of those tracks, that no matter how many words I use, it will not be enough to describe how amazing the song actually is! Honestly, since my first time listening to it, I have not been able to turn it off because it is so enjoyable.

Check Adik Angel on Spotify now and give her newest track “EVASIONS” a listen to (you will definitely not be disappointed!).

Liberati – Find Out

“Find Out” is Liberati’s most recent track and I must say it is amazing! However, for this one, Liberati has collaborated with Rebecca Brunner to create it.

Liberati already has a large following and is constantly wowing his audience with his creations. His 2021 album, “Endless Summer” received over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone! Liberati is now going to be spending 2023 touring with The Calling as a support artist!

“Find Out” is an electric, dream-pop hit, that is catchy and honestly such a pleasure to listen to! The music starts off quite laid back and eventually builds up to an amazing beat drop at the chorus.

Now, for me, the best part of this song is the vocals. There are two vocalists, Liberati and Rebecca Brunner, and it is undoubtable that their vocals flow exceptionally well together! Both of them have beautiful voices, and they harmonize so well!

This is one of those tracks that I will never forget about, and I will definitely be adding it to my own personal playlist! “Find Out” is definitely a ‘Top 40s’ worthy track, so I cannot express how much you need to give it a listen to!

Loudar – Little Susie

Loudar is the ultimate party starter and has smashed it again with another hit, “Little Susie”. Loudar is known for his energetic sets and getting the crowd going!

“Little Susie” has just been released and Loudar has done exceptionally well with this one, with even producing a music video to go with it! This track begins with a beautiful piano tune, that is accompanied by female vocals. The music is very magical and mystical which is different from today’s usual releases. This then progresses into an amazing electrical beat, with some fantastic sounds.

The beat is something different, yet it is something you will undoubtedly enjoy, especially towards the end as it progresses to a hard beat! Honestly, if you were to shut your eyes and listen to this tune then you will feel like you are at a festival in the heat of summer, living your life! And it is just amazing!

Another great element of “Little Susie” has got to be the female vocals. The voice in this track is unquestionably brilliant, and her voice is almost angelic.

Go and give Loudar and his track “Little Susie” a little listen to and you will absolutely love it!

Mick J. Clark – Soldier Boy

Mick J. Clark is an artist that I have become absolutely engrossed in, and each time I hear a hear a song of his they just get better and better!

Let’s start this off with a little bit about Mick J. Clark. Mick is an advanced singer-songwriter, who has been in the music industry for over a decade now! Within this time, he has written over 60 different songs and already reached over 1,000,000 streams on Spotify! His music is always fresh, and full of surprises.

The track we are looking at today is “Soldier Boy” that featured on the “Is This The Best Song Catalogue Ever?” collection. This collection features 63 different tracks all by Mick and was released in 2012.

As always, Mick created a fantastic track, that is just WOW! “Soldier Boy” is another acoustic hit that you will be listening to on repeat all day! The guitar-led music in this one, is beautiful, and will have you swaying along to it. I personally love a more laid-back song, and that is exactly what this is!

There is something about Mick and his vocals that just make you fall in love. He has a melodic, soulful voice that sings with power but also emotion. His voice has a soothing effect and will get you completely mesmerised!

Although the track is from over ten years ago, it is amazing and definitely deserves more recognition! Give Mick’s “Soldier Boy” a listen to and you will not regret it!
