Venior – Free-K Revolution

I do not know about you, but I personally love an album, and getting to experience multiple different tracks by one artist! So today, I have decided to have a little look into Venior and her most recent album, “Free-K Revolution”.

But first, let’s have a look into who Venior actually is. Venior is a multi-talented, singer-songwriter, producer, painter and ‘trashion’ designer, who is originally from Finland (but is now based in Berlin). Venior is known for mixing different beats and experimenting with heavy bass sounds and powerful vocals. She also has an amazing sense of fashion, as she is a ‘trashion’ designer, and is constantly showing off recycled outfits! However, under all this talent, Venior just wants to take people on a special journey, through her music, and get them to connect with their inner self.

Anyways, “Free-K Revolution” was released earlier this year and it consists of 18 amazing different tracks! The album is all about the world, its origin, and the Earth’s conflicts.

The album kicks off with an important message called “Trouble On Planet Earth (Message To The Freeks Of The Universe”. The track is an automated, distorted voice that overlaps a backbeat!

All the music is of alternative/electronic-pop style, which is quite upbeat and a super interesting take on pop! I personally love the second track, which is actually the title track, “Free-K Revolution”. This song is very catchy and is one that I will definitely be adding to my own playlist!

The album ends with a more laid-back, cinematic track that is just incredible! The song is psychedelic, and so lovely to listen to, it almost makes you feel like you are in another dimension, yet some of the sounds also give me reminders of nature! Some of the vocals in this might seem a bit abnormal, however it is super powerful!

Ultimately, this is a crazy, brilliant, engrossing pop journey that everyone needs to experience! Check out Venior’s album now!

Arstidir – Summertime Sadness Cover

I think we all know and love the amazing Lana Del Rey track “Summertime Sadness”, however this time we get to experience an alternate version of it! Arstidir are an electronic trio who have recently released their own version to this track, and I have to say, it is quite amazing!

The “Summertime Sadness” that we all originally know is a mellow, quiet, sad song, however the take that Arstidir have taken is more of an alternative-pop/folk track!

The track kicks off with a great beat, and this further progresses into a more upbeat, yet still quite dull sound! I find the original version amazing, yet there is something about this version that I just love! The song is a little less ‘boring’ compared to the original, and it definitely keeps us entertained!

The vocalism in this song is also just fantastic! Being male vocals, rather than female, we get to hear a slightly different vibe to the song, yet the guys do it amazingly!

This cover of “Summertime Sadness” needs to be heard by you guys, so check it out on Spotify now!

Aimée – Hurt Like Hell

Aimée actually grew up in Dublin and has been a massive fan of music for her whole life! She takes heavy influence from the nineties and artists like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, but also from more recent artists including the likes of Ariana Grande, Charlie Puth and Demi Lovato! Aimée’s solo career begun back in 2018 and ever since then she has not stopped creating amazing music for us!

“Hurt Like Hell” is Aimée’s most recent track, and she even has a music video out for it too! The pop track is one that caught my eye straight away as everything about it is just amazing!

The beat is super upbeat and is so catchy! The music is more electronic, yet it is so incredible! The song has a quieter, a relaxed section towards the end, which is a nice breather for the track!

Aimée has such a beautiful voice, and it is one that I just love! Although it’s a ‘break up’ track, she finds a way to make it very empowering! She said herself that she wanted to create a track that people going through heartbreak can relate to, but also give them that little confidence boost!

“Hurt Like Hell” is available across all music platforms now!

DJ H Chimist – Run Away

Who is DJ H Chimist?

Well to answer that one, DJ H Chimist is a French producer/composer that is just fantastic! He has already produced several different albums and had the chance to collaborate with multiple artists! He is one that includes many different genres, including rap, pop, chill and rock, and always works with a range of different cultures and languages!

Today we are looking at DJ H Chimist’s most recent release, which is an amazing track called “Run Away”!

“Run Away” is an electronic/indie-pop style of song, and it is just amazing! The song is incredibly catchy and has such a contagious beat! The music will undoubtedly get you bopping your head along to it! The song has such a freeing vibe, and it is just perfect!

It is certain that the vocals are also amazing! Being a male vocalist, the vocals are quite low, however we can really hear the singer’s range and talent in this one! He has a very warming voice and is one that I would not mind listening to all day!

This is one of those songs where my words cannot describe just how good it is, so have a little listen for yourself and you will not regret it!

Fat Cat Affair – I Wonder

Now Fat Cat Affair is an artist that I absolutely love, as his take on music is just super interesting! Fat Cat Affair is actually a European artist, who takes on the cat look to conceal his real appearance! He spent many years travelling, searching for the right place for him to settle down in. However, his musical career begun whilst he was touring Paris, and he came across an old piano and a drum kit that was made out of lids and paint pots!

Today we are looking at Fat Cat Affair’s most recent single, “I Wonder” and I have to say it is purr-fect! “I Wonder” was released at the beginning of this year and for this one he has teamed up with Costie Payne! The track is very groovy and super catchy as it’s blues and funk style are just insane!

The beat gives us quite a relaxed and laid-back feeling, yet the instruments included also manage to get you engrossed within the song! For me, this is one of the best songs that I have heard in a very long time, and it is undoubtable that Fat Cat Affair has done an exceptional job with this one!

As always, the vocals in “I Wonder” are superb and even give me reminders of amazing artists like Michael Bublé!

The song is one that needs to be heard by literally everyone!

Mirnaz – God Complex

Mirnaz is a young female artist who began her career at such a young age. Being born in Baghdad, Iraq, Mirnaz started signing at just the age of three, and after moving to the United States, she started making her own music at the age of just sixteen!

Mirnaz released a brilliant acoustic track called “God Complex” last year, and it is honestly such a fantastic song!

The song kicks off with a beautiful little tune, where we are shortly introduced to some stunning vocals of Mirnaz’s. Being an acoustic track, the music is soft, yet extremely effective! The music really highlights Mirnaz’s vocalism! Her voice has a reminiscent of an angel and is just overall amazing!

This is another one those tracks that absolutely anyone and everyone can enjoy, as it is just flawless! So, if you are in the mood for a more laid back, gorgeous sounding track then Mirnaz’s “God Complex” is a hundred perfect the one for you! Jazzygold – Boring Like Me

“Boring Like Me” is an awesome track, by jazzygold, that was released just last month! With jazzygold being a fresh, new artist, her new track has not quite received the credit it deserves, however she is an artist that you can tell is going places in the foreseeable future!

“Boring Like Me” is the perfect pop track that even has a little music video to accompany it (which is available on YouTube)! The song is quite catchy and is one that will get you tapping your foot along to it. The music is very interesting and includes some cool synths and beats!

After hearing this song for the first time, I was shocked at how amazing jazzygold’s vocals actually are! She is the perfect match for a pop/R&B song, as her voice is soft, yet incredibly engrossing!

Everything about this track is brilliant, with the music, the lyrics, the vocals and even the production! Jazzygold has undoubtedly done an exceptional job with this one, and I cannot wait to see what else she has in store for us!

Leif Riggs – Phantom

For today’s review we will be looking into Leif Riggs and his newest track, “Phantom”, which was released earlier this year! “Phantom” is a hip-hop track that was produced by InsaneBeatz, and I have to say it is just amazing!

The track is a very hip-hop and rap style song, so if you find yourself to be fan of either of these, then keep reading, and definitely give it a listen to! “Phantom” is exceptionally catchy, and will undoubtedly have you bopping your head along to it! The beat is hard, and very consistent, and it just goes perfectly with Leif Rigg’s rapping!

As a fan of rap, I can tell you this has got to be one of the best that I have heard! Riggs has a great style of rap, which is more of spoken-word style, and I just cannot get enough of it! His rap is clear and definitely contagious, which is unlike other rap artists that are around today!

“Phantom” is out now and available across different music platforms, so make sure you do not miss out on this brilliant track!

Eddie Meyer X Joe Kenney – Elevate/Activate

Eddie Meyer is a fantastic, rising artist who has decided to team up with Joe Kenney to create the brilliant track, “Elevate/Activate”.

“Elevate/Activate” has some really interesting musical elements in it, with a combination of different genres too! The song is funky and is definitely one you can groove along to at times! The music is one that will get you feeling positive and almost actually ‘elevate’ you.

Although I am not usually a fan of instrumentals, as they are not really my cup of tea, Eddie and Joe completely turn my head with this one! I found myself engrossed in the music for the whole duration of the song, which is unusual for me, especially being nearly five minutes long!

The track is very heavily piano-based, and honestly its sound is just beautiful! Starting off with that groovy effect like I explained earlier, and then progressing onto a more relaxed, soulful sound! The combination of the two types of music actually fit together really well and I cannot fault either of the artists!

Go and give “Elevate/Activate” a little listen to and I can assure you will not be disappointed!
