Grace & Moji – Tipping Point

Grace & Moji are a Los Angeles based duo, which consists of the artist and producer Grace Hong and Martin Wave! Their music consists of heartfelt lyrics, irresistible music, and incredible vocals! The pair have both been interested in music from such an early age, and as solo artists and as a duo that have achieved so many amazing things!

Today we are looking at the duo’s most recent release, “Tipping Point.” This single is a soft, acoustic track, and there is no doubting that it is absolutely beautiful! The music is quite mellow however, the powerful vocals just complete it!

There is no denying that the vocalists have incredible vocals, their voices are strong, are talented and are just amazing!

After hearing this brilliant single, I cannot fault the duo at all, and I cannot wait to see what else Grace & Moji have in store for us!

Be sure to give “Tipping Point” a listen to and can promise you, you will be in love, and completely mesmerised by this track!

Charlee Beatz – 2 E’s 1 Z

Today we are looking at the amazing Charlee Beatz and their newest album, “2 E’s 1 Z”. However, before we get on to that, let us have a little look at who this artist is!

Charlee Beatz, who is from Cleveland, Ohio, is a vibrant artist who mixes different genres including country, classic rock, hip-hop, R&B and electronic. His music is something different, something that is fresh and unique.

Anyway, back to the album. “2 E’s 1 Z” was released earlier this month, and this album and it consists of nine different tracks!

The first track, “Prelude” is a brief introduction to the album, which lasts under a minute. This just includes some euphoric and cinematic sounds, and it certainly gets you intrigued!

This then goes onto the first proper track, “33”. This is an upbeat, electronic track, which has a hard beat and is absolutely amazing! There are not really any vocals in this track, and this gives us the opportunity to really enjoy Charlee’s incredible beats.

One of my favourite tracks form the album is the third track, “Dumb.” This is a hugely different style of track, and it is even something that you imagine hearing at a nightclub or a rave. The production of this is just incredible and it certainly gets you grooving along!

The album then finishes with “Last Call.” This one, once again, is amazing! It is the perfect end to the collection, and it just leaves you wanting more!

There is not a single track in “2 E’s 1 Z” that is not brilliant! I cannot put into words just how good this album is, so be sure to check it out for yourself!

Steve Yanek – September

The amazing Steve Yanek has recently released his brand-new album, “September.” But before we get into that let us have a little look at who Steve Yanek is.

Steve is an incredible artist, whose music is one that will keep you on your toes. He incorporates his real feelings within his songs, and this just makes his music so much better. His past album, “Long Overdue” actually topped both Americana & Country Roots Music charts for two weeks in a row, which is just an amazing achievement!

“September” consists of ten different tracks, each which have their own specialties and qualities. The album, being of Americana/soft rock/folk style, keeps us intrigued, and even allows us to have a little groove to the music!

The first track “Begin Again” is an upbeat, catchy track, which has clear elements of rock. The song is one that pretty much anyone and everyone can enjoy, and there is no doubting that it is amazing! The vocals in the track are amazing, as Steve has a very real, and raw voice, one that is just perfect for this kind of music! The instrumental side is just as amazing, with the inclusion of some awesome instruments!

One of my favourite tracks of the collection is the third featured song, “Summer Days.” This is a beautiful, but joyful track that you just cannot resist! This is one of those that you can sing your heart out to, and dance along to!

The final track of the album is the title track, “September.” This track lasts over four-minutes long, yet every second of it is amazing! This is a softer, and laid-back track, which is just lovely to listen to! It is certainly the perfect end to this incredible album!

All I can really say is, check out this album now! “September” by Steve Yanek is available across all music streaming platforms, so be sure to give it a little listen to and I can assure you that you will love it!

BlackieBlueBird – Grace & Gravity

BlackieBlueBird is a duo which consists of Heidi Lindahl and Nils Lassen. Heidi, the vocalist and Nils, the composer, have been working together to create some incredible work and I just cannot fault them! Their music is one that is unique and has some captivating sounds, through the use of their resonating guitars, lap steels and mandolins.

Anyways, today we are looking at the duos brand new album, which has just been released! This album, which is titled “Grace & Gravity” consist of ten different amazing tunes, all which have their own amazing qualities!

The album kicks off with a track called, “The Morning After.” This is a beautiful, delightful track, which grabs our attention instantly. The music is quite soft, however in the chorus it does pick up, resulting in a catchy and incredible song. Without a doubt, Heidi’s vocals are brilliant in this tune. We can already hear how talented she is, and we are left eager to hear the rest of the album.

The next track, “Mesmerized” is a more upbeat track, however, once again, the music, the vocals, the production are all amazing! This track certainly gives me 80s vibes, and I absolutely love it (and I know you guys will too)!

For me, I found it incredibly hard to pick my favourite track from “Grace & Gravity,” however if I had to pick one it would undoubtedly be “Boy Of A 1000 Tears”. This is a soft, melodic track, one that just whisks you away from reality and takes you into a world of peace.

Finally, the album ends with yet again another brilliant tune, “Snowwhite Swan.” This is a lovely end, and everything about it is just exquisite. Heidi’s vocals and euphonous and Nils composing is amazing!

Eric Cohen – On The Edge (Choir Version)

“On The Edge” is one of Eric Cohen’s most recent singles, and although it is amazing, he decided to take on a choir version of the track, and that is what we will be looking at today!

But before we get onto that, Eric Cohen is a Missouri based hip-hop artist who takes influence from the likes of Lecrae, Toby Mac and Andy Mineo. He has a very deep story, with going through many life struggles at such early age, however he decided to use this and his dedication to God to help him through.

This version of “On The Edge” is a brilliant track. It begins with a soft piano, and this soon builds up to a beat with some incredible vocals. The vocals are a combination of rap and singing, and the choir aspect of it just makes it even better. The choir feature mainly in the chorus, and really brings the song together!

This variation of “On The Edge” needs to be heard, so be sure to go and give it a little listen to and you will not be disappointed!

Firebird Union – Higher Ground

“Higher Ground” is a new release by Firebird Union from their latest EP!

Firebird Union are an electronic indie band who are based in London and Los Angeles. They take heavy inspiration from the likes of Noel Gallagher, Fleet Foxes and HAIM. Although they took a break back in 2008, the brothers found a way back to each other, and started creating some more amazing music.

“Higher Ground” is an upbeat, groovy track of indie-pop style. It has a positive vibe to it, one that can you dance to. The music just gives you good feeling, and just lifts you up instantly.

The vocals are slightly distorted in the track due to the elements of rock in the song. However, the vocalists are without a doubt incredibly talented.

Everything about this track is simply perfect, the vocals, the music, the lyrics the production, just everything! I cannot put into words how amazing “Higher Ground” is, so be sure to check it out for yourself!
