Stephanie Rodd – Recovered EP Review

For today’s review we are going to be looking at a brand-new EP that has just been released by Stephanie Rodd, and I must say it is amazing!

But before we get onto that, let’s have a little look at who Stephanie Rodd is. Well, to answer that one, she is a singer-songwriter and actor from France. Stephanie has always been involved with music and her style is unique yet draws inspiration from the likes of Jorja Smith and Amy Winehouse.

Anyways back to the EP. This six-long track collection is one that you all need to hear.

Kicking off the EP we have, the “Intro”. This is a two-minute start that really gets you intrigued for the rest. The intro is unique and instrumental, but it is one that will undoubtedly get your body grooving.

One track from this that really caught my attention was, “Stronger Than Ever”. This track is quite melodic, yet its R&B style beat keeps the song exciting. The track definitely highlights Stephanie’s incredible voice. She has a soft, and talented set of vocals, that really shine in this track.

However, my favourite of the EP has got to be “Wake Up In This City”. This jazzy, soul tune, will undeniably get you dancing along, as the beat is just so catchy. Once again, Stephanie’s voice is unreal.

And to close off the EP we have, “Magical Notes” and this is the perfect end to the perfect collection. This piano-led, melodic tune is one that is beautiful and just incredible. The soft sound combined with Stephanie’s tunning vocals will definitely get you in your feels and even singing your heart out.

“Recovered” by Stephanie Rodd is out now and you guys cannot miss out on this one!

This track is the perfect start to the album, with the upbeat music, and catchy vocals. The soft music will have you swaying along, and the vocals are just incredible. There is no denying that the vocalist is incredibly talented, and we can see just how talented the duo are in this track.

Zach Bilcsik – Videogame! Album Review

Zach Bilcsik is a rising, energetic artist who has been climbing his way to the top with his infectious music. Luckily for us, Zach has recently released a brand-new album titled, “Videogame!”.

“Videogame!” consists of just six tracks, majority of them being quite short. However, this does not affect the ability or joyfulness of his music.

Kicking off the album we have, “The Grind”. This is a great start to the collection, as we find ourselves instantly hooked. The infectious electro beats will get you grooving along, and you will undoubtedly find yourself eager to hear more.

Next up we have, “Caves”. This one is very unique and will certainly keep you on your toes. The unique music shows just how talented Zach is!

One of my favourites from the collection is, “Shop”. This track is slightly longer, and it moves from being very upbeat, and dance like, to a more serious, yet catchy tone. This track feels like we are in a story, and its intensity will have you hooked.

“Character Creation” is a more melodic track, especially at the beginning. This one does build up as the song goes on, however instead of dancing, for this one we are just sitting back and really appreciating the music.

Then we have, “Energy Reserves”, which is, of course, another fantastic piece. This one is quite mysterious and is certainly one that I could imagine being a movie.

And to close off the album we have, “Title Screen”. This track lasts nearly five minutes long, however there is not a single second of it you will find yourself bored. Every aspect of this track is great, and the different music elements and soundscapes will certainly whisk you off your feet. This was definitely a great way to end the album.

“Videogame!” is out now and you guys have got to hear Zach Bilcsik’s work!
