Mahto & The Loose Balloons – Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue EP Review

For this review we are looking at a new EP titled, “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” by Mahto & The Loose Balloons. This Ep consists of 4 different tracks, all which are incredible!

The group focus on folk, rock and punk, and their music is definitely intriguing.

Kicking off the collection we have, “Parking Lots”. This is a great start, as instantly we are hooked. This is quite a soft, mellow one, but there is no denying that it is beautiful. The strumming guitars and stunning vocals will have you completely and utterly hooked and left eager wanting to hear more.  

My favourite track from the collection has got to be “Crisscross”. This is another soft tune, but the vocals in this one really stands out. There is no denying that the male vocalist has a beautiful voice. With a wide vocal range and flexibility, you will find yourself hooked.

And finally, to finish the EP we have, “Lunch W/ You (Bagels)”, which is, of course, another great hit. This one is slightly more upbeat, and you will definitely find yourself nodding along to this one. It is a great way to end the collection, we are left on a high and feeling good.

Prience (Prince) Moore – Give Me Your Love

“Give Me Your Love” is an incredible track that was released by Prience Moore, and you guys have got to hear this one!

“Give Me Your Love” is an R&B/pop tune that can be enjoyed by everyone. It is quite soft, yet catchy simultaneously. The music will have you bopping along, and you will undoubtedly be left wanting more.

In terms of vocals, once again, Prience has done exceptionally. He has a unique, mellow voice that is a perfect for this track. With a flexible sound, and unreal talent, you will ultimately find yourself obsessed.

Gatis – Remember Me. Theme

For today’s review, we are going to be looking at a new hit titled, “Remember Me. Theme” by Gatis, and let me start off by saying, wow!

Gatis is a composer and producer from Latvia. Founding a popular music group back in 1994, he had a well earnt break, and returned to the music scene better than ever in 2024.

“Remember Me. Theme” is a 5 minute long track, that I know you will all love. It is a classical, paino led tune that will have you hooked. The track almost tells a story and it is amazing. It is quite melodic, and heartfelt, and I could honestly listen to it all day long. The music is sweet, and there is no denying that Gatis has done an exceptional job.

Richie Flo – Reggae (Do What You Want)

“Reggae (Do What You Want)” is the newest release by Richie Flo, and I must say, it is amazing.

Richie Flo is an exceptional reggae artist from Jamaica. With him writing his own songs, his music is one that is personal and amazing.

“Reggae (Do What You Want)” is an upbeat, groovy tune that I know you will love. From the moment it begins you will be hooked on the track, and dancing along. The music is unique, enjoyable and most of all, intriguing.

In terms of vocals, Richie Flo has done brilliantly. He has a brilliant, different voice, that is vibrant and fits perfectly with this style of track.

Great Adamz – Funke

“Funke” is the brand-new track by Great Adamz and this is one you have got to hear!

Great Adamz is an artist that I always love to listen to. He is a Nigerian afrobeat artist who has received hundreds of thousands of streams, and many followers.

“Funke” is an upbeat, groovy afrobeat that you just cannot help but bop along to. From the moment it begins, the beat will have you swaying your hips and dancing to. The vibes are unreal, and you have got to listen to it.

Onto the vocals. Great Adamz has an exceptional voice that fits perfectly with this track. He has a soft voice, one that can hit some high notes.

December Fades – Young Love

“Young Love” is the brand-new release by December Fades, and I must say, it is a good one!

But before we get onto the track, let’s have a little look at the artist. December Fades is a self-produced, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Otherwise known as Kevin Rogers, his music is one that you need to hear.

“Young Love” is a synth pop tune that I just cannot help but love. It begins with a softer beat, however it soon builds to something catchy, and groovy. A melodic, yet enjoyable track and it is amazing.

The vocals are also great too. December Fades has a very unique, deep voice and it undoubtedly has a mysterious vibe to it.

Stray Blue – Wake Up & Smile (acoustic)

Today, I am really excited to share this incredible new track with you. This is, “Wake Up & Smile” by Stray Blue.

“Wake Up & Smile” is a brilliant acoustic tune that I know you will all love. From the moment it begins, the catchy beat will have you bopping along. The music is acoustic, yet upbeat, and I just love it. The guitar riffs are amazing, and the steady drumbeat is beyond belief. However, we have to talk about the vocals too.

The male vocalist is clearly very talented and cannot wait to hear some more of him. He has a raw, country voice that is perfect for this track. Despite his deep voice, he has a wide vocal range and is able to reach some great notes too. And alongside the backing vocals, Stary Blue have truly created a masterpiece.

DJ Aquana – Time To Say Goodbye

For this review we are going to be looking at an exceptional electro/dance hit by DJ Aquana and this one is called, “Time To Say Goodbye”.

DJ Aquana, otherwise known as Ivo Heerings, is a brilliant EDM artist, who has had a passion for music for decades. He enjoys creating feel good tracks and I just cannot get enough of him.

Anyways back to, “Time To Say Goodbye”. Featuring Clubbing Dolls, you will find yourself obsessed with this one. It begins quite melodically, with an intense and heartfelt intro. The female vocals alongside the softer music, make you instantly intrigued. The songs soon builds up to a catchy, enjoyable climax, one that you just cannot help but dance to. The beat is perfect, the music is great, and it is definitely one that you need to hear.

The singer-songwriter from Iowa, is known for her heartfelt and expressive music. She is someone who takes care and pride in her music, and I cannot fault her.
