Michellar – September

For this review, we are going to be listening to a new track titled, “September” and this one is by Michellar. And I must say, this track is amazing.

“September”, which also features another artist named, Helen Walford, is a stunning country/folk tune, that I know you will all love.

“September” begins with a soft, guitar intro, which will instantly have you hooked. The music is very peaceful, and it really is just beautiful. The track, being about summer being over, and the start of September, is one that gets you feeling autumnal and relaxed. The music builds to a slightly more powerful climax, however remaining peaceful.

One part of this track that really stood out to me was the vocals. There is no denying that she has the most stunning voice. She has a very strong, and controlled set of vocals that can reach some exceptional notes. Her voice, without a doubt, has got to be one the best that I have heard in a long time!

Eoin Shannon – Highs & Lows Album Review

For this review, we are going to be looking into an exceptional album, “Highs & Lows” that was recently released by Eoin Shannon.

But first, let’s have a little look at Eoin Shannon and who he is. He is a brilliant artist, who takes a forward approach on music. With inspirations such as Johnny Cash, Kate Wolf and Dean Martin, you will find yourself obsessed.

“Highs & Lows” consists of 13 different tracks, all which are amazing, and today I am going to tell you about some of my personal favourites from the collection.

So, kicking off the album we have, “Going Through Hell”. This is a great start to the album, as instantly we are hooked. This is quite a chilled out, blues/rock tune that will have you swaying along. The guitars in this one is what really stood out to me, and alongside the amazing vocals, Eoin has truly created a masterpiece.

One track that I really loved was, “I Could Fall In Love Again”. This track is quite an upbeat, rocky tune, which is actually quite heartfelt. The contrast in the music to lyrics makes this song exciting and enjoyable whilst also deep. With the addition of little guitar solos, this track will definitely keep you on your toes.

Another track that I loved was, “Demon lady”. This one is a slightly harder rock tune, and it is just full of talent. A rocking drumbeat, electrifying guitars and immense vocals, this song is truly one that you have got to hear.

And finally, to close off the album we have, “Pull The Plug/Pull The Curtain” but a remix. This is a groovy tune that will undoubtedly get you up and dancing. It is catchy, and it is such a great way to end the collection, as we are left on a high.
