“Song For Pete Ham” is a brand-new release by LY@TT (pronounced as Late) and let me start off by saying, wow.

LY@TT are an incredible group, who have recently reunited back in 2024. Their new track is a brilliant tribute to the UK band Badfinger, and I must say it is amazing.

From the moment it begins, the catchy beat will have you hooked. It follows a very soft/rock style, allowing it to be enjoyed whilst hearing the lyrics. The song remains at a steady constant, with some great instrumentals.

In terms of vocals, again they have smashed it. The lead vocalist, without a doubt, has a fantastic voice, and he just completes this track. With his natural, yet flexible voice, we, as the listener, are drawn in and left eager for more.

“I’ll See You Soon” is a brand-new, heartfelt tune that has been released by 23 Fields.

23 Fields are an exceptional group, who created this track to portray the feeling of guilt for not visiting their elderly parents enough, something that may be relatable to some.

“I’ll See You Soon” follows a folk/soft-rock style, making it mellow, yet catchy. The steady drum beat holds the track together, allowing us to bop along, and enjoy the musical side of this track.

In terms of vocals, 23 Fields have smashed it. The male vocalist has a very raw and real voice that presents the lyrics incredibly. His voice is distinctive and easy-going, allow his to sing almost effortlessly. As I mentioned, the lyrics are quite a deep one. Serving as both a reminder and a confession, the track is important in so many ways.

Aurealis’ new single “Cursed” is out now and you have got to hear this one.

For this review we are going to be looking at a recent single titled, “No Breaks”, that was released by OB1.Obi last month.

OB1.Obi is an exceptional, rising artist, who is just 18 years old. He has created this new track to be one that is powerful and motivational, focusing on the difficulties and pressures of life.

“No Breaks”, is the definition of short, but sweet, lasting just over two minutes long. From the get-go, we are hooked on the beat and catchy vocals. The music in this track is minimal, allowing the vocals to shine. However, there is no doubting that they are effective, following a hip-hop style, you just cannot help but bop along.

As I mentioned above, the vocals are catchy, and amazing. Using a slightly altered version of a call-and-response style, this track is one that is layered and enjoyable. There is no doubting that OB1.Obi’s vocals are fantastic, and his rapping skills are not only clear and precise but entertaining too.

“Say It Again” is the brand-new release of Blind Man’s Daughter, and I cannot wait to share this one with you all.

Blind Man’s Daughter, otherwise known as Ashley Wolfe, is a fantastic vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Known for blending of genres, “Say It Again” despite being a pop tune, definitely defies the usual stereotype.

From the moment the stack begins, you will find yourself hooked. With a sturdy beat, and insane vocals, you just cannot help but be mesmerised. The verses in this track are slightly more mellow, however the chorus is one that is full of power and strength. You will ultimately find yourself bopping along to it.  

Despite the incredible musical/instrumental side of this song, the highlight of it has got to be the vocals. Ashely has a beyond incredible voice. She has such power and control over her voice, and with her vocal flexibility, we can see just how talented she really is.

“Alone (On The Dance Floor)” is a brand-new, brilliant track that has been released by the incredible ADA!R.

ADA!R is a Glasgow-based songwriter, who has created this track in light of a personal, and therefore relatable, heartbreak. Using a more upbeat, enjoyable nightclub tune, this is one you have got to hear.

From the moment it begins, the catchy beat and unique club synths, will instantly have you hooked. The track remains entertaining and allows you to groove along with ease. The music relates directly to the meaning off this one, the idea of keeping on moving after heartbreak. Towards the end of the song, we are welcomed to a rave-style beat, and this is the perfect ending to the track, leaving it on ahigh and eager for more.

In terms of vocals, although minimal, they are very effective. The lyrics keep the song moving, and entirely relatable.

For this review, we are going to be focusing on a unique, yet incredible tune that was released by Ho Jo Fro last month. Collaborating with The Sixies, Kleidi Buroz and Brianna Tam, the collection have truly created a masterpiece.

Ho Jo Fro, otherwise known as Paul Derringer, is fantastically talented. This track is quite a stripped-back tune, no heavy instrument, instead soft string instruments, and even rhythmic knocks to symbolize the title. The music is still very enjoyable, and almost feels like we are getting taken on a journey.

In terms of vocals, wow. Every artist that features on tis track are brilliant, and Ho Jo Fro’s distinctive voice keeps the track engrossing.

Dianne Forte is a fantastic artist and songwriter, who has already caught the eye of many through social media. Dianne has always grown up with music and chooses to express her faith through music.

Today we are looking at one of Dianne’s best tracks, that was released in 2022, and this one is called, “God Sees Your Heart”.

“God Sees Your Heart” is beautiful, yet enjoyable tune. Following that gospel sound, this track is just one that makes you want to sing your heart out too. The music remains quite mellow through the verses, but has a slightly more uplifting, powerful chorus. The track will undoubtedly get you swaying side to side, however the true highlight, has got to be Dianne’s vocals.

In terms of vocals, the vocalist, Alice, has an outstanding, angelic voice that is just incredible. Her flawless sound, and wide vocal range is just striking, and alongside the choir backing vocals, this track is just undefeatable.

Mitchell Broodley, an incredible, independent country artist, has just released a new single and this one is titled, “Different’s Where I Wanna Be”.

Collaborating with Brittany Ray, the pair have truly created a masterpiece. “Different’s Where I Wanna Be” follows a country style, one that is catchy, and so enjoyable. From the moment it begins, the strumming guitars will instantly have you hooked. The track is enjoyable without being overpowering, allowing for the vocalists to shine.

Both Mitchell and Brittany have incredible voices. Mitchell has a very deep, country voice, and with Brittany’s higher range, the two blends smoothly. They both are insanely talented, and I could honestly listen to them all day long.

“Different’s Where I Wanna Be” is one of the best tracks I have come across, and I urge you all to hear it. Give Mitchell Broodley and Brittany Ray some love for their talent and for their new hit track, “Different’s Where I Wanna Be”.
