Rusty Reid – The Unreasonables Album Review

For this review, we are going to be looking at an incredible album by an incredible artist. Rusty Reid released his album, “The Unreasonables” late last year, and this is one you have got to hear.

Rusty is an American singer-songwriter who combines multiple genres including, indie, folk, pop, country and rock. This album is a special one, with nineteen different tracks, some that were created over 40 years ago but have finally been produced for us all to hear.

Let me start off by saying, every single track in this collection is amazing! Although I’d love to speak on every track, today I am going to be focusing on my four favourites.

Kicking it off we have, “Hot As A Pistol”. This is the first song to feature, and it is amazing. Following a rock, country style, you will instantly be hooked. We are welcomed to a catchy beat, electrifying guitars and stunning vocals. “Hot As A Pistol” is a perfect start, as we are left eager to see what else Rusty has in store.

One track that I personally love is, “Let’s Just Talk”. This is another catchy, and talented song. The beat of this one is unique, groovy and unreliable and this enables the track to be quite intriguing. One thing about this track that really stands out is Rusty’s vocals. He, without a doubt, has a brilliant voice. He has a warm, yet husky voice that fits smoothly with this style.

Another track that caught my attention was, “Edge Of The End”. With a more relaxed and stripped backs style, this song just lets you not only enjoy the music but the vocals too.

And finally, to finish the album we have, “The Way She Does Me”, which is, of course, a fantastic tune too. It allows the collection to be ended on a softer, and wholesome note. Following a soft-rock style, the track is one that can be enjoyed, sung to and will even get your head bopping along.

So, what are you waiting for? Head over to Spotify and be sure to check out Rusty Reid’s newest album, “The Unreasonables” and I can assure you will love it just as much as I do!
