Ellie Walker – The Balance EP Review

Today we are going to be looking at an amazing, brand-new EP release and this one is, “The Balance” by Ellie Walker.

This EP is a thoughtful and emotionally grounded collection that is honest, relatable and, without a doubt, memorable.

Opening with the title track, “Balance” we are instantly hooked. With it’s a gentle, but catchy beat, you will find yourself bopping along. Combined with Ellie’s calm, strong vocals, we are welcomed to a warm, and skilful EP.

Next up is, “The Old Oak”. This track leans into the idea of nostalgia and memory. This is a softer, yet stunning track that will definitely have you mesmerised. With its quiet instrumentation, this track really allows Ellie’s vocal skills to shine.

Onto, “Let Me Go”, which is, of course, another great tune. This track focuses more on the release and emotionally raw moment. Despite this track holding quite a lot of emotional weight, it still has a catchy beat, with a unique beat, enabling us to not only respect the track, but enjoy it too.

And finally, the closing track, “One Day”. This ends the EP with a feeling of hope and resolution. This is like a breath of fresh air compared to the emotional vulnerability of the rest of the EP.

Ultimately, “The Balance” by Ellie Walker is an exceptional EP that needs to be heard. It is strong, sincere and almost as if she is telling us a story. Click the link below and check out this brilliant, reflective collection by Ellie Walker.
