For this review we are going to be looking at an exceptional track by Audren titled, “The Good Road”. This is an indie-pop/soft rock tune, all about uplifting and finding joy in life again.

“The Good Road” is a luminous, yet mysterious tune that will definitely have you engrossed. With its gentle guitar riffs and mellow back beat, you will find yourself nodding along. Although the track starts off quite intense and minimal, it soon builds to a powerful and leading climax, which really emphasises on the positivity of life.

In terms of vocals, wow. She has a unique, yet loving and compassionate voice, which is perfect for this track. Alongside the choir backing vocals, they have built a powerful tune, really pushing that ‘good road’ feeling and narrative.

This track is quite a heartfelt one for Audren, after experiencing her own illnesses and problems in life. She is expressing that the world can be light again, and no matter how hard it may seem, you will get there eventually.
