“The Secret Joke” is the latest album release by Casey Louis, and this is a good one.
Casey is an exceptional singer-songwriter who blends many genres, such as, rock, indie and pop. His new album consists of 14 different tracks, all which are amazing, and I wish I could sit here and talk about them all.
So, kicking off the collection we have, “Set-Up”, and this is a great start to the album. This a short intro, which is quite mysterious, and will definitely leave you wating to hear the rest.
Thew first proper track is, “The Company Of Self” and this 5 minute track will have you hooked. This is an upbeat indie/pop tune that I know you will all love. This track makes you want to groove and want to dance. This song introduces us to Casey’s style, his vocals and his song writing.
One track that really caught my eye was, “Coming Down”. This on follows a more rock style with its steady beat and electrifying guitars. This one will get you bopping, but most of all just enjoying not only the music, but the vocals too. We can hear just how talented Casey’s voice actually is. He has a wide vocal range and insane flexibility, his talent is just undeniable.
And finally, to close the album we have, “Punchline”. This is a similar vibe to the introductory track with its intense and unique sound. Finishing as a full circle, this outro allows us to reflect on just how amazing the album was.
I urge you all to give this incredible album a listen to. “The Secret Joke” by Casey Louis is out now and you have got to hear it!
