For this review we are looking at a new EP titled, “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” by Mahto & The Loose Balloons. This Ep consists of 4 different tracks, all which are incredible!
The group focus on folk, rock and punk, and their music is definitely intriguing.
Kicking off the collection we have, “Parking Lots”. This is a great start, as instantly we are hooked. This is quite a soft, mellow one, but there is no denying that it is beautiful. The strumming guitars and stunning vocals will have you completely and utterly hooked and left eager wanting to hear more.
My favourite track from the collection has got to be “Crisscross”. This is another soft tune, but the vocals in this one really stands out. There is no denying that the male vocalist has a beautiful voice. With a wide vocal range and flexibility, you will find yourself hooked.
And finally, to finish the EP we have, “Lunch W/ You (Bagels)”, which is, of course, another great hit. This one is slightly more upbeat, and you will definitely find yourself nodding along to this one. It is a great way to end the collection, we are left on a high and feeling good.
So, what are you waiting for? Give Mahto And The Loose Balloons’ new EP, “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue” a little listen to!
