Sola Akingbola is an incredible percussionist, songwriter and composer from Nigeria. He has always had love and passion for music, and was even the percussionist in the band Jamiroquai. Sola has just released a brand-new album titled, “How Should I” and let me start off by saying, WOW!
“How Should I” starts off with, “Intro (Igi Nla)”. This is a short intro to the collection, one that is intriguing and will definitely have you eager to hear the rest.
One track that really caught my attention was, “Touch My Soul”. This track is groovy, and you will undoubtedly find yourself grooving along. The music in this one is unique, but so enjoyable at the same time.
Another track that I loved was the title track, “How Should I”. This one is slightly softer and more melodic, but beautiful. The soft beat allows the vocals to really shine through, and there is no denying that the vocalist is incredibly talented.
And finally, to finish the album we have, “My Brothers Keeper”. The piano-led intro will instantly have you engrossed. This track has a more opera style to it, which once again, is incredibly intriguing.
I cannot put into words how excellent this album is, so why don’t you check it out for yourself. Click the link below and give “How Should I” by Sola Akingbola a listen to now!
