Carl Liungman has just released his brand-new album, “Change” and I must say it is incredible!
But before we get onto the album, let’s have a little look at who Carl Liungman is. Well, to answer that one, Carl is a neo-classical pianist, songwriter and composer. Born in Sweden, Carl found himself listening to lots of styles of music. Whilst he found his passion for jazz piano, Carl has taken inspiration from both modern and more classical music.
Anyways, back to the album. “Change” consists of nine different tracks, all which are brilliant.
Kicking off the album we have, “Mother”. This track begins with a beautiful piano, and instantly we are hooked. This is a brilliant track to start off the album, as immediately we can see just how talented Carl is. Building up to a more intense climax, you will undoubtedly find yourself on the edge of your seat, eager to hear more!
One track that really caught my eye was. “Peaceful”. And that is exactly what this track is, peaceful. The soft, melodic piano will have you mesmerised, and Carl’s sound almost just whisks you away from reality, into a state of calmness.
And to finish of the album we have, “Change”. This is quite a lengthy track, lasting over six minutes long, yet it is still amazing. This is the perfect ending to this masterpiece and gives us a minute to really appreciate Carl’s music and talent.
I cannot put into words how incredible this album is. Whether you are a fan of classic, instrumentals or not, you will undoubtedly find your in awe of this one.
“Change” by Carl Liungman is out now and you have all go to hear, so be sure to give it a go!
