The Mustard – Illusion EP Review

For this review, we are going to be looking at an incredible, mini EP, that was released by The Mustard a few years back, and this one is called, “Illusion”.

But before we get onto that, let’s have a little look at who The Mustard actually are. Well to answer that one, The Mustard are a synth/alt-rock/pop group from London. With five members, that merged back in 2021, we have heard some incredible pieces by the band.

Anyways, kicking off the EP we have the title track, “Illusions”. This is the perfect start to the collection and with definitely have you intrigued. This is a soft-rock style, however it is catchy, and you can certainly have a little boogie to it. The instrumental side of things is amazing, and alongside the fantastic vocals, The Mustards have truly created a masterpiece.

Next up we have, “Further On Down The Road”. This one begins in a melodic, and classical way, which instantly captures you. This soon progresses to an upbeat rock tune that is incredible. This one is very vibrant and enjoyable, it just cannot be faulted!

And finally, to finish off the collection we have, “Part Of Me Reprise”. This is a soft, and just beautiful outro, where you will find yourself almost dreaming. With no vocals included, we are able to really feel the music and hear the talent of the band.

I cannot describe how amazing this EP is, so click the link below and check out “Illusions” by The Mustard for yourself!
