Samantha Rae – The High Road Album Review

Samantha Rae is an exceptional singer-songwriter based in Southern New Hampshire. Working alongside Jay Delllsola, who co-writes and manages, Samantha has created some brilliant music.

Luckily for us Samantha has just released a brand-new album, “The High Road” and I must say it is amazing.

Kicking off the album we have, “Taking Me Down”. This is a perfect start, as it is groovy, upbeat and so enjoyable. We are instantly hooked and left eager to hear the rest of the album. The country style allows us to dance along, whilst appreciating the music, and possibly even singing our hearts out.

One track that caught my eye was “Pinocchio”. The music is slightly melodic in this one yet has a swing to it. But the main highlight of this track has got to be Samantha’s insane voice. She has exceptional vocal control, and her skill is just beyond belief.

Another track that I thoroughly enjoyed was “Back To You” This track includes a contagious instrumental and stunning vocals. The music inclines you to groove along, and it is just incredible. With the use of guitar solos and infectious drumbeats you just cannot help but love it. Samantha, has once again, done a brilliant job in terms of her singing. Her power, and sultry vocals are perfect for this track.

And to close off the album we have, “Time”. This is, of course, a great ending to a great album. Starting off slowly, softly and melodically, you will find yourself mesmerised instantly. Although the track does build up, it is much more laid-back compared to the rest of the album.

I cannot put into words how brilliant this album is. You need to give Samantha Rae the love and support that she deserves. Check out “The High Road” now!
