Laura Glyda – This Heart Is A Machine Album Review

“This Heart Is A Machine” is a brand-new album, that has just been released by Laura Glyda, and there is no denying that it is amazing!

But before we get onto the album, let’s have a little look at who Laura Glyda is. Laura is a very talented artist and songwriter, who’s music is a blend of different styles, including folk, rock and Americana.

Her new album consists of eight, brilliant tracks, and kicking it off we have, “A Beautiful Light”. This tune begins with a beautiful, piano-led intro. The melodic tone is one that is just like heaven to the ears. The music remains quite soft throughout, giving Laura’s voice a chance to really shine. All I can say is, WOW, what a way to start off an album!

One track that really caught my eye was, “Take Only What You Need”. This one is slightly more folk-rock style, with strumming guitars, and of course, fantastic vocals. Laura has an extremely powerful, and angelic voice, which is just stunning. She can hit some incredible notes, and I just cannot fault her at all.

Another track that stuck with me was, “The Wolf And The Lamb”. This is a very emotional and meaningful track, that is just gorgeous.

“This Heart Is A Machine”, the title track, is the final song on the album, and there is no denying that it ends on a great one. This track is slightly more upbeat than the rest, and it almost feels like after heartache and emotion throughout the album, we have finally reached the end, which is happier and better. The guitar riffs in this one are brilliant, and you cannot help but groove along to this one.

“This Heart Is A Machine” is one of the best albums I have heard in a long time, and you all need to hear it too! Click the link below and give Laura Glyda the love and support that she deserves.
