Of Shadows And Lights – Poems From The Edge EP Review

Of Shadows And Lights is an alternative rock project by the multi-instrumentalist Angelo Pitone. Angelo is a very talented artist, who writes, composes, records and produces all of his music. He takes inspiration from the likes of Queen, Freddie Mercury, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Iron Maiden, and with this he manages to create something amazing!

And luckily for us, Of Shadows And Lights has just released a brand new EP, “Poems From The Edge” and this is not one you want to miss!

This EP consists of four different tracks, kicking off with “On The Ledge”. This one is quite a lengthy track, but there is no denying that it is amazing. It begins quite slowly, but as soon as Angelo’s vocals kick in, we are stunned. The music is quite intense in this track, but it is certainly a brilliant way to start off the collection.

Next, we have “Unbecoming”. This one is slightly more upbeat, and I just love it. From the second it begins you will find yourself bopping your head and tapping your foot along to the music. It is just unbelievable that Angelo does this all by himself, as every single aspect of the song is incredible!

The third track, “Into The Silence” is another brilliant track. This one is quite mellow, but we can really hear how talented Angelo’s voice is in this one.

To finish off the EP, “Emerge” does a brilliant job of stunning us. This one is very upbeat, and the elements of rock are very clear in this one. This might just be my personal favourite from the EP, as the beat is so contagious, and the vocals are just insane.

Of Shadows And Lights newest EP, “Poems From The Edge” is available to stream now, so be sure to check it out!
