Me & Melancholy – Under The Cover Of Darkness

Me & Melancholy is the stage name of the musician mastermind Peter Ehrling. He is a one-man project who focuses on the world of electronic and synth-based sounds. Based in Stockholm, Me & Melancholy begun in 2022, after spending his whole life involved win music. Through the use of this project, he is able to put all his talents to use.

However, today we are looking at this artist’s newest album release, “Under The Cover Of Darkness.” This album was released earlier this month and consists of fourteen different tracks.

Kicking the album off is “Just Like A Dream” and there is denying that this is a brilliant start to the album. It is an upbeat, groovy track, one that you can enjoy, sing to and even dance to! It has you up on your feet within seconds, and it certainly leaves you eager to hear the rest of the album.

One track that really caught my eye, was the third track, “So Alone.” This is another upbeat, electronic track and you just cannot fault Me & Melancholy’s talent in this one! His vocals in this one are quite deep, yet incredibly talented and very flexible.

My all-time favourite track of the album is, “Touch You.” This is the sixth featuring track of the album, and there is something about this one that just had me hooked! The music, once again, is incredible, and the vocals, as always re amazing!

The final track to finish the album, “Not Even You Can Get Under My Skin” is definitely a fantastic way to end the collection. Starting with quite a slow beat, we soon experience an upbeat, and mind-blowing track. Peter’s voice is very euphonous, and we can really hear just how brilliant his voice is in this track.

All I can say is, go and listen to this album now! It does not matter if you are young, old, an electronic music fan or not, I can assure you that you will absolutely love this album! “Under The Cover Of Darkness” can be found on Spotify now.
