Today we are looking at John Puchiele Ensemble and his newest album release, “After Life.” This album was dropped on the 27th of September, and I must say, it is an incredible album.
“After Life” consists of nine different tracks, all which are fairly lengthy, with the longest rack being over nine minutes. However, this is one of those albums that you will never find boring, in fact you will be engrossed throughout the whole album.
The opening track to the album, “Depart” is certainly a way to start the album. This piece gets us intrigued and leaves us eager to hear the rest of it! This song begins very slowly and mysteriously, leaving us mesmerised.
This then goes on to the second track, “Liminary To The Otherside,” which is another fantastic piece! The music and the ensemble do a fantastic job, without a doubt, and I just love it.
Even though you may think this is not for you, due to it being an instrumental, I can assure you that you will absolutely love it.
The final track of the album, “Tetragrammaton” is certainly the perfect way to end this collection. This is another mellow, quiet track, yet we can really hear the musicians’ talent in this one.
I cannot put into words how amazing this album is, so be sure to head over to Spotify and give it a little listen to now!
