BlackieBlueBird is a duo which consists of Heidi Lindahl and Nils Lassen. Heidi, the vocalist and Nils, the composer, have been working together to create some incredible work and I just cannot fault them! Their music is one that is unique and has some captivating sounds, through the use of their resonating guitars, lap steels and mandolins.
Anyways, today we are looking at the duos brand new album, which has just been released! This album, which is titled “Grace & Gravity” consist of ten different amazing tunes, all which have their own amazing qualities!
The album kicks off with a track called, “The Morning After.” This is a beautiful, delightful track, which grabs our attention instantly. The music is quite soft, however in the chorus it does pick up, resulting in a catchy and incredible song. Without a doubt, Heidi’s vocals are brilliant in this tune. We can already hear how talented she is, and we are left eager to hear the rest of the album.
The next track, “Mesmerized” is a more upbeat track, however, once again, the music, the vocals, the production are all amazing! This track certainly gives me 80s vibes, and I absolutely love it (and I know you guys will too)!
For me, I found it incredibly hard to pick my favourite track from “Grace & Gravity,” however if I had to pick one it would undoubtedly be “Boy Of A 1000 Tears”. This is a soft, melodic track, one that just whisks you away from reality and takes you into a world of peace.
Finally, the album ends with yet again another brilliant tune, “Snowwhite Swan.” This is a lovely end, and everything about it is just exquisite. Heidi’s vocals and euphonous and Nils composing is amazing!
Ultimately, BlackieBlueBird have created an outstanding album, so be sure to check out “Grace & Gravity” now!
