Nina Ross is a brilliant artist from the Isle Of Wight, who is not only a music artist but also a Theatre Designer and Art Director on films. Nina fantastically combines different styles of music, including folk, art-pop, electronica, and even classical.
Nina has just released her first ever proper track, “Milk.” “Milk” is actually a cover, originally by an indie group called Plastic Mermaids. Nina’s version is a lot more melancholic and darker than the original, however I must say I love it this way!
The song kicks off with delicate, beautiful female vocals which are then joined by soft instruments. It is undoubtable that the vocals in this track are amazing and pure, and you could easily listen to them all day without getting bored!
The way Nina has interpreted the song is amazing, with ideas of electronic and pop, we are just smothered in greatness. Although the song is quite soft, there is a beat which really shows the emotion of the track.
Ultimately, Nina’s take on “Milk” is just incredible, and it is an amazing way to kick off her career. I am so excited to hear what else the star has in store for us!
