The Taiwanese-American singer/songwriter and producer, Sydne Strauss, is a rising musician who has been creating her own music from an early age. Born in a small town in Missouri, Sydne started performing at the age of seven, and then moved herself to Los Angeles as soon as she graduated high school, to help her pursue her career. She is now discovering her own sound increasingly every day and is constantly creating new music.

Sydne’s newest release “Upstairs” is a short but sweet one, with just over two minutes of greatness. It is the ultimate dance-pop tune, filled with passion and desire. “Upstairs” is perfect for a party, with its beat and positivity that seeps through. The song remains upbeat with a hard rhythm and bassline, that just automatically makes us want to get up and dance.

The song has a very relatable meaning, of meeting someone new, and locking eyes with them from the second you see them. It almost creates a nostalgic feeling. I must say, for me, the highlight of the song has got to be Sydne’s amazing, sultry vocals. Her vocals hold so much power, and immediately captivates us when we hear her.
